Hey guys!
I reached legend with this deck and Senx's Hunter deck last night. I really like rogue atm and I had a 80ish% winrate with this deck.

Good against: Paladin, Priest, Warlock
Weak against: Warrior
The Hunter matchup isn't too bad, but you need good draws to handle the early aggression.
Card choices:
2x Shiv & 2x Sap
I really like to play 2 of each of these at the moment. Sap is just too good against things like Tirion Fordring or Savannah Highmane or simply to bypass taunts. It's also great on turn 4 if you prep it out with a Violet Teacher on board for a huge tempo swing. Double Shiv is just very consistent and can be used as a very efficient removal especially if you have spell damage.
1x Sprint & 1x Gadgetzan Auctioneer
I decided to run a Gadgetzan Auctioneer over the second Sprint because I felt it was too good with Preparations. Also I kinda like the feeling of the old miracle rogue :p
1x Southsea Deckhand
This card enables a lot of burst potential as well as a very good option to clear hunter traps or Mirror Entity. It's just too good.
Only 1 Fan of Knives?
I would really like to include a second one, but I would have to cut either a Sap or a Shiv which I wasn't too comfortable with.
What do I mulligan?
Always keeep SI:7 Agent if you have the coin. Against control decks you can keep Preperation and Sprint if you have both in hand already. Keep Backstab and early removals against aggro decks. Against warriors you want to get a Deadly Poison to kill the Acolyte of Pain in one hit. If you face a mage you can assume that it's mech mage so definitely keep Deadly Poison and Blade Flurry to clear the board if necessary. Against Paladin you want to keep the Fan of Knives to answer the Muster for Battle.
Enjoy!
Good effort but absolutely useless deck... :/
I took out 2 shiv's and replaced with one Fan and one Shredder. smooths out curve for me.
4(0) - 3(1) - 7(2) - 6(3) - 5(4) - 3(5) -1(6) -1(7+)
2 shiv's will give two one one bodies off a teacher so shredder can compensate for that. and an extra fan provides the same damage and draw with more utility at just one more mana. I think its a more competitive build even though you might be loosing out on potential draws from the auctioneer and cheaper single target damage.
I don't have Thalnos, so i replaced him with shadowstep for more of the old miracle combos with SI Agent and Earthen Ring. Any thoughts?
how much draw do you actually get out of Gadg, wouldnt switchin it out for an Azure Drake be more powerful?
I agree, just another guy trying to gain views " hey guys This oil rogue has Loetheb in it like every other rogue deck"
Gadgetzaan and Shiv just don't seem worth it compared to another Sprint and like any other card that doesn't screw up your mulligans or your top decks by forcing you to cycle, I think one of the reasons why I actually like Oil Rogue over Miracles is because you don't have to play Shiv just for the additional card draw off of Gadgetzaan.
this is exact the same deck im using right now, i add one more fan of knife and one antique heal bot. one less shiv and no talnos
Are violet teachers really that good? I find that my tinker's oil always buffs newly created apprentices. Also, they die to every aoe (explosive trap, whirlwind/uth, etc.) Personally I play Belcher+Healbot.
I run a fairly similar build, but instead I use one shiv and two fan of knives. I also did a gameplay video on how to play the deck!
replacement for thalnos?
I prefer the kobold, the Sp is really good in combo with the spells. But is just my opinion
