You don't need 40 cards, i just like having 9 extra to utilize. the focus is on your minions having adapt and charging into face, and plenty of minions to give taunt. i found the val'kir aspirant was most effective for this as she will ensure you always have a cheap minion with enough health to block and kill most attacks so long as you have her on dorothee's left for the free charge. the auras are in the deck to ensure that you're outputting more damage than you would otherwise and an extra turn to counter the full board wipe on their 8th turn. also, to anyone considering copying or swiping the hero power on warlock for a win, you can't. I don't know why it doesn't count as a hero power according to the game, but it doesn't at present. -.-
if you get lucky and get 3/3 adapt when hits enemy hero protect that boi for all you're worth and NEVER give it taunt.
