Arcane Watcher might be worth but I'm trying it without since I had the problem of having too many payoffs and not enough spell damage minions. Like if they were smart enough to just clear my spell damage minions right away and I didn't draw phoenix to set up it was really rough to get anything going and I kind of just had to sit there. I'm running pretty much all the good spell damage cards. I could be on astromancer but I don't have her (and idk how insane the prime is in wild since I've experienced my fair share of rune of the archmage low rolls) and also cult sorcerer for more aggressive stats than glowscale. But other then that there are some cards that feel like they should support spell damage mage that I find it pretty hard to justify. Silvermoon Arcanist costs 1 too much with that downside would love it as a 2 drop. Sorcerous substitute is way too costly to consider. This is the kind of deck that gets a little bit of support each expansion just by proxy of caring about good mage spells but it's definitely not there yet. Miracle Salesman is a super cool synergy though this is one of a couple decks that wants the oil for more than just tradeable I've lethaled people with it on numerous occassions.

Edit: Took out the meddlesome servant to play both molten runes. It's been way better and actually forces opponents to respect you now. Don't have the answer for aegwynn effect? Well hold this 14 damage to the face. Think you can just spreading plague to block my board and survive? I hope you have greater than 16 health then. Point being, it's felt amazing for me. I've been testing elemental companion (because tbh I haven't gotten around to crafting unexpected results yet) but results are inconclusive. Hiffar and Luekk are quite good and usually applicable (with luekk particularly being really strong for our deck) but me'sho is tragically meh. So I can't imagine I'll run it when I craft unexpected results but who knows maybe I'll like it still.

Edit2: Just updating to say that unexpected results has been much better than I anticipated. Really great payoff
