Why do you need Emperor in this deck?
Meanwhile, I have to say that deputization aura is SO good in this deck. And adding injured tolvir is lowkey genius, because (besides good drop for call to arms) under the aura it also heals you for damaging itself with battlecry too. Amazing small interaction.
To play Uther for 8 mana instead of Ane for 9, which allows you to charge Tears of Tyr faster
But it's really bad against aggro already, and against control -1 turn won't usually make a dif?...
against aggro you have other tools. Against control, 1 turn makes a big difference
the idea of tyr's tear otk is really fun but omg I tried it and this is soooo slow...
Not only that but it also restricts your deck building significantly, since you can't play paladin minions. I think the old fashioned way of Beardo + 3 cheap spells is still the way to go.
I tried and because of the minions with coins you can't use Call to Arms which slows down the deck and in general it makes you more vulnerable to aggression. After testing both approaches, I settled on this
Ain't no way Call to Arms is a better card draw than Crystology + Knight of Anointment. And aggro is supposed to be a good match-up, because of all the healing and board clears that Paladin has access to.
