Hi folks,
After testing this deck for 30 matches, with a win rate of 70% (21-9) , I decided to share this deck with you.
As you can see in the deck list, I use only one minion : Kazakusan
THE GAME PLAN is simple : Play Kazakusan asap, then overwhelm and kill your opponent in the next 3-4 turns.
Every single game has two stages.
STAGE 1 : Drawing Kazakusan (preferably discounted with a corrupted Insight) while surviving and healing.
STAGE 2 : Choose the right cards offered by Kazakusan as per the class youre facing (there are some cards that are more usefull against some classes and not that usefull against the other)
MULLIGAN:
Tier 1: Insight (the most important card; you ALWAYS mulligan for this)
Tier 2 (cards that help drawing/discovering Insight): Thrive in the Shadows, Gift of the Naaru & Shard of the Naaru (for the trading effect) and Palm Reading (for the discover/discount effect)
Tier 3 (cards against aggro matchups) : Gift of the Naaru, Renew, Holy Smite & Shard of the Naaru [/card](especialy agains Hunter with early buffs and Druid with their [card]Composting)
I will be updating this page with a video if it starts to gather views and interest but till then, let me know how it performs for you, what challenges you encounter and what suggestions you have.
Enjoy!
Fun deck, works very well for me when I switched in Seek Guidance!
it gets completely obliterated by Druid with Kazakusan
better play Druid instead.
Nice deck. I suggest try adding Seek Guidance instead of Condemn for one more discover/draw. Glhf!
Looses to kaza druid everytime. And its all over Ladder
Kazak really only seems to be effective on Warlocks. Search "kazaklock the new meta". I only got rid of 3 cards in that deck and added 3 different cards. Traded 2 hysteria for 2 twisted nether. Added jeraxus, and I sold one random card for a entitled customer. I played at least 30 games in the last 2 days and only lost 1 time. Cheap deck build.
This deck is just so funny, i love it! xD
Looks very interesting looking forward to trying it out.
1-5. First loss by Mutanus, next one mirror match with opponent starting with coin and 2 times without Kazakusan or even opportunity to draw it. In the fith time completely trash form Kazakusan. That only won was boring, don't want to play this deck any more.
Wow.
what a journey
It could be the deck, it could be the lack of luck or maybe, just maybe ... you haven't given the time to understand the deck. I have played more than 50 games now with this deck and idk if I had 1 game where I did not play Kazakusan or at least drew it. It's just a matter of practice in my opinion. Anyway, thanks for the detailed answer. I always appreciate a constructive criticism or in this case a criticism that comes with examples to support it. GL on ladder!
Why 2 <raise dead> ?
For extra Kazakusans, as long as you don't play any dragons you get from studies
Thank you Timbo_Baggins. Indeed Orny, there are 2 chances to get a Raise Dead before you play Kazakusan and lose your deck. Even if I can play Kazakusan, in some matchups (eg: Druid or Ctrl Warrior where they have a ton of armor ) I may wait for 1 Raise Dead because I like to a) have another shoot if first 5 treasure choises were bad or b) simply have 10 more cards to secure win against a lot of armor
Thank you Scorpion23 for this deck! Is really fun! In reference to the Raise Dead, you secure extra Kazakusans! Once you have a 2nd one, choose ONLY spells as treasure and then use your 2nd Kazukusan for the creatures. It is such a blast to play once you get the hang of it.
Very good deck build!
Thanks for taking time to provide your feedback Joedimop.
Just won three games in a row at Diamond 5, and all three games drew Kazakusan within the first 2 turns.. can only imagine how much more powerful the deck is if you draw with a corrupted Insight...
Thanks for the deck, was starting to hate the new meta...
Thank you Manduned. I'm happy it works for you as well. I was able to play Kazakusan on turn 4 , 2 times now (I was super lucky to discount and corrupt Insight+ discounted both Draconic Studies on Turn 3). They were dead by turn 8. But in general, if you're not that unlucky, you should easily play him on turn 6.
