Hearthpwn

This is my midrange shaman from vanilla Hearthstone (2014).

I got Legend with this deck on 29/05/2014. Interesting fact - some people playing hearthstone today are born after this date ;)

Although this deck has some difficult matchups (like face hunter and zoo) it can control the midgame well and do some surprising burst damage to win. It has a good matchup versus Handlock.

Strategy: Use Flametongue Totem, Feral Spirit, Lightning Bolt to control the early game. A dream opening is Argent Squire into Flametongue Totem or coin plus Unbound Elemental into Feral Spirit.

In the midgame, use Defender of Argus, Azure Drake, Hex and Fire Elemental to gain board control. Sylvanas Windrunner and Big Game Hunter counter heavy threats.

To finish out the game - use burst damage. Doomhammer with double Rockbiter Weapon does 16 damage for 7 mana. Al'Akir with a single Rockbiter Weapon does 12 damage for 9 mana, or 18 damage for 10 mana with two. Earth Shock can get past taunts.

The winrate is about 52% in classic. It took me two attempts over two months to get Legend. Special shoutout to legend miracle rogue player "Ajay" from UK who helped me :)
