Hi,
Been playing Face Hunter the net deck version but it did not quite fit the present meta so I modified it heavily to counter the main decks out there, specially Quest Line Mage and Handbuff Paladin. All the others decks seemed easy for me as the tempo I apply early takes advantage of that starting on turn 1 specially the quest line play!! 20 wins 8 losses.
Mulligan: all 1 mana cards preferably adorable infestation, Demon companion, wolpertinger and intrepid initiate. Kolkar pack runner is a must against all except quest mage (so you can keep tracking if you have it). Having nothing to play on turn 1 is ok if you have Kolkar and a spell preferably tracking (with you coin on top of that you are in good position). Wriggling horror is a keep if you can play it on curve so nice having when you play wolpertinger on turn 1 for example.
The addition of serpentblum is my answer to these annoying Taunts by playing on a 1 mana beast. Here you can see the amazing synergie you can get with Kolkar. The ideal is :Use serpentblum when there is preferably a 1 mana beast on the board of create one rush beast with kolkar then poison it. I can't say this enough, including in your mana management the use of your hero power is also key to success.
Good to know: when you can go wide in the first turns WHILE controlling the board your chances of winning or getting a concede are extremely high. Here, Serpentblum can be an invaluable card to kill any early threat. Kolkar, wolpertinger, wound prey can give you the rush beast you can poison. The Cheapest Killer in the game: combo Wound prey/Serpentblum a 1 mana killer even if minion has shield.
Against Mage I try not to put minions (cause of Ice barrier and frost spells) on the board. The combo you should try is wound prey + piercing shot (full 6 damage on turn 5). Aimed shot is probably the best face damage card in this deck (7 damage possible on turn 5 and over).Ex:https://hsreplay.net/replay/pa3zRD8QkwWS7iE3AMXDpd
I also tried playing scrap shot instead of serpentblum it was good as well. If you are able to go large with buffed minions in the first 3-4 round the opponent usually concedes.
UPDATE: At legend level it's a bit harder but the deck is still working fine. 70% win rate, 32 wins 14 losses. Against all non minion decks use your serpentblum on any beast when you start to be low on cards otherwise you get stuck with it and won't be able to draw with quickshot when needed. Also the number of concedes at legend is higher when you manage to go wide within the first 4 turns as you can see in replays below:

Update: Still doing well at Legend level...good players tougher matches Win rate gone downto 65% which is still good. The only deck that really giving me a hard time is Shadow priest as he can ping my minions early on.
UPDATE 20 AUGUST 2021
After nerf version I replaced wriggling Horror (conditional thus slow) with Oasis Thrasher.
It's a beast that can be pulled up by wrangler and buffed. I know some may think that it could reduce the chances of getting a buffed rhino turn 5 it turns out the decks seems to work well. Kolkar turn 3 slow the deck a bit but to the point of taking him out of the deck. I'ts 3/4 body is real threat compared to Mankrik. I have to play more matches to see how really good the deck is for this new meta. Right now, Quest shaman and Aggro shadow priest are challenging. To beat Aggro Shadow priest don't go face all in....it's all about value trading, kill the dangerous ones like Dragonmaw overseer, Void touched attendant, Frazzled Freshman (hard to kill when buffed), if priest has two minions (some priest have wriggling horror) or more on the board things will get harder pretty quickly so trade. If you put enough pressure in the beginning they won't develop a good board.
Update 16 august 2021
Deck is still doing well. Here are the HS replay stats (mulligan, Win rate per class, overall win rate) for this deck for 92 matches. if you want to see clearly the pics right click on one to open it in a new tab.
Sometimes MANKRIK can activate their ICE BARRIER in the end game when shes almost dead. so be careful of that. otherwise any form of face hunter is good.
Exactly, that is one of the reasons I did not want Mankrik in the deck. And now that we know what the nerfs are I believe I still don't need Mankrik. Once the patch is up, I shall see if Kolkar is still a viable option, cost 3 mana but a 3/4 body that could help it to stick. Problem though Kolkar could shine on turn 4 and thus take the spot of Warsong Wrangler which would mean no turn 5 buffed Rhino rush. Many things to factor in. We'll see, Face Hunter and multiple options and we just have to find the best one. I practically never use Kolkar when I face a Quest mage so nothing changes here. Quest Warlock is the one that I want to face and see I need make changes or not.
Yes, Mankrik is a great card indeed and could be a card to consider depending on the incoming nerfs. Right now, I am still facing many Quest mages and the match is a race where Mankrik (and his wife) could help mage to finish his quest line faster than me getting the cards I need to finish him.
Thanks, what do you recommend against mage? I've tried what you say in the guide but they just kill me faster with spells on the face lol. It's the only class I struggle with, 35-7 so far, 6 loses vs mage 1 vs paladin
The norm against Quest mage is using hero power at every turn if possible and damage spells on face. Use of minions:
- Only if you can go wide the first 3 turns go for it, mage will have trouble deciding if he play incanter's flow turn 2/3 or control board. Going wide in the first 3 turn is worth the risks. Buffed minions is what you want, hit face as there is no ice barrier yet. After that use minions only to counter minions mage put on board use poisoned rush 1 mana beast (wound prey or given by kolkar)on big minions and rhino on small ones. No need to mention that once mage has ice barrier don't hit face with your minions if there are any on board.if you feel there is no significant threat on board just go hero power and damage spells. Aimed shot is your best friend here followed my piercing shot which can kill that annoying spell damage minion that pops up and arcane shot.

Right now I am testing the deck post nerfs...we'll see..
What about using Mankrik? Seems to be one of the highest winrate cards according to hs replay and u can get it for almost free with barrens packs so it's budget enough
Excelente Deck, estaba atorado en rango 5 oro y logré obtenert 10 diamante.
Thank you very much for the feedback. Glad the deck helped you in your climb!
