This is a fun little deck I've been playing around with, if you're looking for something off meta that will throw your opponent for a bit of a loop look no further.

It's viable even at rank 3,000 Legend, that's where I've been playing around with it.

It plays a lot like the old Duel Paladin prior to the Duel cards going into Wild. Instead, you'll rely heavily on commencement for cheap big minion drops in the end game that should give you a windfall when you play them for 7 cost with divine shield and taunt.

Pitfalls - Playing Commencement into a Yogg is lame, but possible. Can't be helped... Yogg is included due to the heavy spell load early game. This is to prevent a 7 drop Commencement into a 1 mana Righteous Protector because nobody wants that, but if this happens too much just yank Yogg out and replace.

Anyway, early game is pretty self-explanatory... plenty of removal tools, old school board clears,.. and the dream opening is as follows:

Turn 1 - First Day of School
Turn 2 - Hand of A'dai or Snack Run
Turn 3 - Ceremonial Maul
Turn 4 - Barricade or Blessing of Kings
Turn 5 - Blessing of Authority
Turn 6 - Hammer of Naaru
Turn 7 - Commencement
Turn 8 - Another Commencement
Turn 9 - Party Up!
Turn 10 - Double Conviction for the OTK or Yogg-Saron for some fun.

Overall this is a fun deck, not super competitive, but viable. I just enjoy playing it because it's outside the Meta right now and literally NOBODY is running a deck like this, which gives you an edge because players don't have a clue what kind of Paladin you're running and how to counter it. By the time they catch on, it's too late!

A few heals from Snack Run are nice against aggro, as well as plenty of taunt options to get you into that turn 7 or turn 8 Commencement that will give you a big temp swing for end game.

Have fun and enjoy! See ya out there...
