It worked a couple of times.

Key is to get the combo going and to not die until turn 10. 

Yoink! for a control hero power or the warlock, draw a card. The Octo-Bot should discount at least some of the combo cards like Alex, Cutterbutter or Potion of Illusion - not necessarily but makes it possible to push the combo a bit earlier.

Best way for me was to shadowstep a Foxy Fraud in one of the turns before the combo. 

Then it is something like:

0 (Mana cumulated) - Prep

0 - Foxy

2 - Cutter

8 - Alex (Damage cumulated: 8)

8 - Potion

8 - Prep

9 - Foxy 

9 - Scabbs

9 - Alex (16) 

9 - Potion

10 - Foxy 

10 - Scabbs

10 - Alex (24) 

10  - Alex (32 dmg)
