Happy New Years everyone!

Hit legend in about 15 hours total (Wins 38 -Losses 36 w.11xBonus Stars) with only Highlander Druid this new month. Credit to Blastoise for coming up with this exact version that counters Evolve Shaman. Here's the matchup break down and some tips that may help:

Demon Hunter-4-2 Does well against all variants. There's plenty of removal, heal, and taunts to deal with Soul and aggro. Pray OTK doesnt draw too fast and pressure with the larger minions as fast as you can.

Druid- 2-2

Hunter- 0-0 I encountered zero hunters in this run Sadgeface

Mage-1-1

Paladin 1-4 Larger minions early on can be a problem for this deck. My internet went down in a match  that I shouldve won so score should be closer. Highlander Pally seems more difficult than Libram since its more aggressive.

Priest- 0-0 Ran into zero Priest this run. Going off playstyle and vs other similar decks, this deck should do okay against them. A well timed Elise should generate enough big threats to get by (on Dragonqueen, Ysera, Y'Shaarj). I can see this deck running out of steam if they have enough removal though.

Rogue-10-14 This is a tough match. Try to save removal for Questings, Foxy Frauds, Edwin. One of the matchups where you should hold on to Zeph for removal instead of ramping, especially when your hand has no removal. Most of my losses were from unanswerable Edwin, Questings, going wide, and high roll Jandices. I found myself losing to them more in the beginning when I hit Platinum rank 5 but its doable once you get the hang of playing against them with this deck.

Shaman- 13-9 Weapon destruction, removal, and big swing turns are enough to pull this in your favor. Zeph is used for removal or ooze most of the time. Try to time Elise to copy removal cards.

Warlock- 1-3 Small sample size but got unlucky with a couple of these matches (milled Ysera after Elise + not drawing Dream portals) Try to copy big threats with Elise and pressure in waves. Ysera feels like a must need in this mu to apply enough pressure.

Warrior- 5-1 I think this matchup is favored for Druid. Copy your large threats with Elise. Ysera, Dragonqueen, and Y'Shaarj should apply enough pressure. Zephrus is our only answer to Rattlegore but it can be hard for them to find the time to drop him.

Tips with the deck:

-Remember playing Ysera will turn off your other Highlander effects. You'll be put in a lot of situations where you have to determine if pressuring with dream portals is better than the HL effects.

-Remember which Corrupted cards you played were actually corrupted. Y'Shaarj only adds cards that were played corrupted. I played him a few times thinking I would get back Strongman for Taunt or Amulet for Armor when I played them non-corrupted.

-Planning turns ahead with deck is very important. Think about how you want to manipulate your hand when you have Elise.

Final Thoughts - Druid is one of my favorite classes in Hearthstone. It's upsetting to see them performing so poorly on HSReplay and disregarded in the community at the moment . This deck is has been my favorite deck to play so far this meta, and I hope other people give this deck a shot. I would put it on a much higher difficulty to navigate but it is very fun and rewarding deck that you can hit Legend with. Also note, the winrate should be higher, there were a lot of games I threw away. I think this deck played at the highest level is a very strong deck.
