INTRODUCTION

Hey everyone, I'm BMT360, creator of the popular Cobalt/Scorpid Tempo DH deck from the Ashes of Outlands expansion. I'm here to present you with an Aggro-Stealth Rogue theorycraft for the upcoming expansion which I will be playing starting on Day 1 trying to climb from D5-Legend. Quick decks like these seem to do awfully well in the early days of the expansion when the meta isn't so defined. It'll be interesting to see how this fares beginning on August 6th.

WIN CONDITION

As any aggro deck runs, our goal is to drive down our opponents health as quickly as possible. We have a variety of ways to drive down our opponents health.

Stealth Package. The Spymistress, Worgen Infiltrator, Akama, and Sneaky Delinquent comboed with Ashtongue Slayer and Cold Blood is extremely strong and can provide us with heavy face damage quite early. Remember, these minions are extremely hard for our opponents to remove when they are stealthed so it is NOT always smart to attack with them before you buff them.

Weapons: We run both the Hooked Scimitar and the all-new Self-Sharpening Sword which are additional ways to deal heavy face damage and maintain board control. We can buff these through Vulpera Toxinblade too. Remember that the Toxinblade is not a Battlecry minion so once it dies, your weapon will not have the +2 attack.

Spells: We run two Backstab in order to keep board control. Using Eviscerate twice, is a total of 8 damage for only four mana. Cold Blood is an additional eight damage. Sinister Strike is also more face damage.

Edwin VanCleef : The cards in our deck all cost 3 or less, meaning that VanCleef seems strong. Do not be afraid to use him as a 4/4 or 6/6. Although he'll be much stronger later on as a last resort if you somehow run out of steam.

Other: Blazing Battlemage is an incredibly strong 1 drop and Kobold Sandtrooper helps us deal damage to face even if we're forced to trade on board.

Secret Passage

Yes... it deserves it's own section. This card seems INSANE. We will use to to refill our hand if we are running low or to assist us in getting the combo pieces we need to win. Remember, it swaps back the following turn so you want to play it at the beginning of your turn. It's also a good choice if you have leftover mana and want to buff or fight for board control.

NOTABLE EXCLUSIONS

There are other cards I felt like could be decent in the deck including Sap, Deadly Poison, Greyheart Sage, Maiev Shadowsong but I had to leave them out as I felt they were either not necessary or didn't synergize all that well.

REVISION HISTORY

1. 8/7/2020, 4:05 AM GMT - Swapped 2x Vulpera Toxinblade for 2x Deadly Poison.

CONCLUSION

I will definitely be making some changes when I figure out what's working and what isn't. Hopefully we find some success with this build early on! Please speak up below with questions, comments, and/or suggestions. Lastly, feel free to add me at BMT360#1693 on Battle.net (I only play on NA). As a consistent legend player, I can help you pilot the deck or answer any questions you might have. :)
