Deck Overview

This deck wins by drawing very specific, powerful beasts.  After drawing them, there is a bit of hand buffing, possibly followed by reducing of mana cost(s), and then ultimately copying said buffed beasts in hand (i.e having three (13/13) King Krushes], and OTK'ing your opponent as early as turn 8 with Beastmaster Leoroxx.

Long Story Short... you can summon enough King Krushes on turn (8) to deal 39 dmg

Card Choices and Why

Let's get into the details on the "whys" behind my more INTeresting card choices starting from lowest mana cost and proceeding to the higher mana cards..

Ramkahen Wildtamer - this deck buffs and reduces the cost(s) of beast(s) in hand, copying one doesn't sound so bad. There are also plenty of beasts worth copying even without said buffs due to their effects.

Escaped Manasaber - highlander hunter wants to sustain until late game.. so (1) When he attacks, you theoretically play a Coin helping you get to your powerspikes a turn early (2) He's a beast.

Houndmaster - ya got a lot of big beasts. (+2/+2) and taunt on one of em ain't too shabby.

Mok'Nathal Lion - used mostly for removal. Getting the battlecry effect is amazing, but not necessary.  The deathrattles include, Zixor, Apex Predator (CAREFUL this "turns off" your highlander cards until one of the Zixor Primes is drawn), Savannah Highmane, and even Octosari (tho I would normally not recommend that as you can quickly overdraw and end up fatigue-ing)

Hunting Party - To be used to copy key buffed cards so that Beastmaster Leoroxx can summon them.

Starving Buzzard - This card has been hot garbage for too long now.. with a well played Scarlet Webweaver, this card becomes (0) mana... making it op op since you have Snake TrapDesert Spear, and Unleash the Hounds in this deck for easy multiple draw procs...  (not to mention you can duplicate this (0) cost with the likes of Ramkahen Wildtamer or Hunting Party.

Savannah Highmane - He's big, he's bad, he's back. High stats + beast+ deathrattle for Mok'Nathal Lion if the opportunity arrises.

Scarlet Webweaver - makes one of your high cost beasts cost 5 less!!!!! Imagine hitting your Tundra RhinoStarving BuzzardKing Krush.  These cards which are usually hard to incorporate into combos are now either (0) mana, or (4) mana, respectively.  This mana cost reduction applies to all hand duplicates as well.

Beastmaster Leoroxx - This guy's battlecry summons 3 beasts from hand. [FYI, it's possible to have 3 (13/13) King Krushes in hand with this deck... With instant summon, this is a possible OTK]

Octosari - I decided to include this card over Dragonqueen Alexstrasza for two reasons. (1) One of the biggest beasts in game + you can combo it by using Beastmaster Leoroxx to summon this, Tundra Rhino, and Savannah Highmane
(2) his deathrattle is super helpful in refilling your late game hand and assists in finding one of your win conditions ....

Mulligan

- If you have played the Highlander archetype before, mulligan like normal. This overarching archetype works well in combination with hand-buffing for hunter because of the natural "control-style" of the highlander archetype.

- Always keep (1) drops (Keeping Tracking is up to you. Dependent)
- Always keep Zephrys the Great
- Look for 3-mana cards that either create, maintain, or swing tempo. (i.e. keep Unleash the Hounds against Demon Hunter to clear board, etc)
- Keeping higher cost cards (4-mana or above) is risky and should only be done if your opening hand already starts with at least a 1-drop and you have Coin for turn (3)

As you get to know the deck, you will realize when to keep other cards not in this list. Until then though, follow this mulligan guide.
