Hi

I have seen a lot of people playing the new miracle quest mage deck. since the mage quest is seeing more play, and the most used deck ver is from Knights of the Frozen Throne. I would like to share with you the exodia quest mage list I got from rank 5 to 39 legend with.

The Combo

The combo is to have 4 or more Sorcerer's Apprentice in play, then play Time Warp so you can play Archmage Anthonidas on the following turn, cast any spell and you will have infinite free Fireball's.

you can get more than 2 Sorcerer's Apprentice with Molten Reflection and you get one extra if you have Khadgar in play.

How to Play

If you are ever unsure of what to do, I would recommend drawing cards because that's how you get closer to winning.

Aggro, try your best to find out how much burst damage they have on every turn and the following turns. you want to be a bit over that number so you survive.

Control, 95% of control decks has some sort of combo disruption card find out what it is and do your best to play around it. I usually like playing against aggro decks because it's not a Rng party.

Cards

I like to think that there is 3 types of cards in the deck. Draw, Combo and survival.

let's start at Draw Cards

Arcanologist 1x It's a good keep, and it is very good at getting a Ice Block so you survive a bit longer. I like it a lot more than Mad Scientist because of all the silence type cards

Research Project 2x Arcane Intellect 2x and Coldlight Oracle 2x all draw 2 cards making you able to do the combo a lot earlier, since it's really effective card draw it you have  more space for other cards. I always keep one to get the draw going smooth.

Survival Cards

Frost Nova 2x Blizzard 2x just good cards. Don't keep any of them as you usually want to draw into them.

Doomsayer 2x going first agains agro decks with this in your hand greatly increases your win rate. But if you are going second you usually have to coin it out or else they can probably kill it. I tend to keep it against control if I have some draw as you can delay a big turn if you time it right.

Ice Block 2x Arcane Artificer 2x don't keep them in your opening hand. Ice block is amazing because you can survive Lotheb turns and other combos like damage + damage = lethal. usually your opponent pops the block before you have drawn all your freeze cards but don't worry you can play Arcane Artificer with freeze to get out of lethal range.

Combo Cards

Sorcerer's Apprentice 2x Molten Reflection 2x Archmage Anthonidas 1x Open The Waygate 1x never keep any of them except Open The Waygate

Magic Trick 2x Ray of Frost 2x quest completion cards that help with survival. my main reason for choosing these cards over other spell generation cards is the cost, it makes it really easy to empty your hand when you draw a lot of cards, and you can play them the same turn as you do the combo. With Magic Trick is really likely to find a freeze, draw or Block card. you Can think about keeping Magic Trick against some aggro decks.

Banana Buffoon 2x I like it much more than Cabalist's tome for completing the quest and everyone loves bananas. it can also be played on the same turn as the combo, 2x Sorcerer's Apprentice 1x Banana Buffoon and Time warp into Archmage Anthonidas double Molten Reflection. Don't keep it.

Khadgar 1x it is simply a replacement for Simulacrum, I find it much more consistent. if you don't have it play Simulacrum instead.

Final ^_^

Keep in mind if you are going to play this decks it will take a lot of practice to get good at it and gain ranks. And when you are good at it I still would't recommend it for ranking up as there is a lot of other decks that do that better.

This is mostly for the players that made the quest for Miracle Mage so they have other fun uses for the card.

If you have any questions about the deck feel free to leave them in the comments, I will do my best to respond.
