Hi guys,
I did my usual thing and made a deck to hit rank 5 - after fully tuning it I went from 8 to 5 with a record of 14-3 so I'm sharing!
The win condition is pretty much bouncing Jan'alai until the opponent crumbles to dust or playing Jaina and outlasting. However, bouncing Arcane Keysmith for multiple secrets on key turns can also wreck combo decks (more on that in 'hints and tips' to come).

Feel free to post or pm your own in-depth guides for the deck and I'll add them here!
As always, please try out different substitutions and post your results!
Enjoy!
Mulligans
Vs. Anything: Keep Frost Lich Jaina
Vs. Aggro (or unsure): Always Keep Tar Creeper, Raven Familiar, Stonehill Defender, Zilliax.
Keep Daring Fire-Eater, Acolyte of Pain only if the rest of your hand is made from the cards above.
Vs. Control: Keep Raven Familiar, Stonehill Defender, Daring Fire-Eater, Acolyte of Pain
Vs. Hunter / Shaman: Same as aggro but also keep Dragon's Fury
Vs. Warlock (if you are playing mostly vs control) / Priest: Same as control but also keep Polymorph
Matchup Guide
Even though bouncing Rags is a strong win condition, against most decks 4 Rags is overkill - usually Jaina and 1-2 Rags is sufficient. We have other effective bounce targets in our deck, so waiting all game with unused bounces actually reduces our chances of winning.
This means that there are 2 key things we need to know going into a match: What the key win condition is, and where we should be mainly using our bounces.
Aggro
Win condition: Jaina
Bounce targets: Daring Fire-Eater, Raven Familiar, Arcane Keysmith, Zilliax (If desperate)
Control
Win condition: Maximum Rag Bounce
Bounce targets: Jan'alai
Combo
Win condition: End-game Secrets
Bounce targets: Arcane Keysmith
Note: If you are playing against a deck which is not in the list below, use the appropriate aggro/control/combo category instead.
Druid
I don't know where they went.
Hunter
Win condition and Bounce targets: see Aggro
Notes: Good spell hunters will save a spellstone to refill the board after a clear. Try to keep a backup Dragon's Fury in case this happens.
Spellbender is an extremely useful secret vs Deathrattle hunter - Mirror Entity is also good but only use it if there are no deathrattle minions on the board
Polymorph Katrina on sight - blow her up if you can't polymorph (as long as you can handle what comes out).
Once you have Jaina up, focus on generating as many elementals as possible and keep controlling - he will run out of resources before you, even with his DK active.
Mage (Control)
Win condition and Bounce targets: see Control
Notes: Control mage is a resource battle and will be decided in fatigue - draw as little as possible, use as few resources as possible and maximise Jaina's hero power.
Other control mages apply more pressure earlier than us, try to deal with it efficiently, it's ok to take damage early as long as Jaina can be brought out safely when the time comes. Generally these matchups come down to who plays Jaina first, but we have enough late-game power that we can play her a few turns later than the opponent and still recover.
Rogue
Win condition and Bounce targets: see Aggro
Paladin (OTK Holy Wrath)
Win condition and Bounce targets: see Combo
Notes: You need to get a Counterspell up after they shuffle the dude into the deck - this will cut out one of their 25 damage Holy Wraths. if you have a decent amount of armour and a blizzard left, you should be able to recover.
Priest (Mecha'thun OTK)
Win condition and Bounce targets: see Combo
Notes: Quite simple - if you have an Explosive Runes active when he's down to 5 cards, you win - bounce that Arcane Keysmith and pray.
Priest (Other)
Win condition and Bounce targets: see Control
Shaman
Win condition and Bounce targets: see Aggro
Warlock (Zoo)
Win condition and Bounce targets: see Aggro
Warlock (Control)
Win condition and Bounce targets: see Control
Notes: Save a polymorph for Rin
Warrior
Win condition and Bounce targets: see Control
Notes: Control warrior is a resource battle and will be decided in fatigue - draw as little as possible, use as few resources as possible and maximise Jaina's hero power.
Quest warrior is a weak matchup - it's not impossible to win, but you need Jaina up and Rag bounces ready ideally before they finish the quest.
Is it possible to play it without Zola the Gorgon ?
I have the same question? With which card can we replace Zola the Gorgon?
I haven't played the deck yet and I am still learning hearthstone but the bounce ideal is a great thought. If your exact deck doesn't work for me I will keep the bounce ideal and make a few changes.... thanks
Any room for Skulking Geist? I think it’s a great card against control warrior.
You haven't seen them because they aren't getting the attention they deserve...
after one bounce he gave up LOL
Looks intense. Thanks!
Those bounces haha! Control Warrior just couldn't handle the pressure ;P !
No one wants to point out you missed lethal at 12:45? lol
They did on YouTube LUL
Honestly pretty bad after rank 4, just horrible..
Good deck and write up. Funniest moment: Druids - I don't know where they went..
Exactly this but to be honest i am really tempted to downvote the deck, not because of not having success with it, but because of the bs title without proofs. 79% Winrate...yeah right...And because of the shameless vote begging. However since op has actually put a guide i will willhold judgment and will simply pass without voting. If i had seen it before the guide was added, i would downvote the fuck out it :P
17 games are such a few sample that you might have actually achieved 79% winrate but that's not the point. Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence and you have none. Not only the game sample is too small but you do not have even stats to prove it and there are plenty trackers out there. Now if you had played the games in phone, you could simply not have stated the winrate at all. But not only you did, you actually put it on title. That's intentional false advertizing no matter how you see it.
This "common sense" is the usual bs excuse i have heard countless times. I am member of this community 4 years now and both as creator and player, i have yet to see a good deck followed by a good guide not getting the attention it deserves.
Look, i am not here to preach you about deckbuilding, what i am trying to say is that your deck is very fun and your guide is decent, so it would have become popular without these underhanded means. In fact, i would say they hold it back.
win rate is subjective, and it has a lot to with what time you play (because of what decks get played at what time, you can get better or worse matchups.) therefore i don't pay too much attention to win rate titles. But i do get we are all tired of clickbait titles on you tube like 100% win rate with like a 3 game sample size. but Gotdeathstar put in the first sentence of his guide (which cudo's to him for doing a guide, and in depth) that it was a 17 game sample size. i would consider this a decent amount of games for a sample, but if you disagree it was put in the first sentence so he is being straight forward with his information. sure he doesn't have data tracker for it but that doesn't make him a liar.
if you have been part of the community for 4 years you should be used to these kinds of posts, which is probably why you're upset. but you should also realize that negative posts like yours are just as bad for the community if not worse then "click bait"
Oh but i am neither upset nor negative.I haven't even downvoted the deck and i even praised it for being fun my 1st comment. I simpy criticized the way the deck was advertised based on the general consensus . This is the internet so any claim should be followed by evidence. Anyone who believes something especially this extraordinary without proofs is just gullible.
I honestly do not know why both you and op became so defensive about this. As for this being the norm, well that's the way it is because we allow or even reward clickbaiting and upvote begging.
just seemed like you have the wrong guy to post qualms to. his title may of been a little click baity, but he was straight forward with all his information and wasn't being shadey with his post
I really tried to like this deck ... simply can't keep up any WR in higher ranks. It's a fun idea, but most of the aggro meta just wrecks it, and the other control decks are much much faster
It takes a long time to figure out if a deck is good or bad. You cant just play a few games and call it a day. You need a bigger sample size and maybe you just need to git gud at the deck. Also even if you conclude the deck is bad, it doesnt mean you should downvote. Imo creativity is much more important than pure winrate
Most people use a deck for a couple games and don't know how to play it or run into some bad matchups then say the deck is bad. Most times it depends on the pilot.
