Good day to you all.

I have always loved combo decks and set out here to create a deck that countered some of the main meta decks with that in mind, mainly spiteful, druid and warlock decks.

The main point of the deck like any good combo deck is to stay alive and draw to combo. After making lots of adjustments over 50+ matches I watered down the draw in favour of more dragon synergy and chip damage with removal.

This deck can do 56 damage from hand and with coin 96. That doesn't include discovery mechanics. With both Maly and Velen in the deck it offers a ton of different play paths to acquire a win. Alex is just a Secondary win condition since if you're opponent is sub 20 Health its easy to win without the combo.

Its a tough deck to navigate but rewarding when you pull wins, it takes a lot of critical thinking to plan 3+ turns often making what may look to your opponent awkward or weird plays.

One of the hardest things of this deck is to not overplay minions and have more than 3 selections on Eternal Servitude, breaking your combo. So it requires very thoughtful us of your own minions. EG. Use Clerics to get card draw then Psychic Scream it to keep it from your graveyard.

Mulligan

The mulligans are always look for draw and removal. T1 is often not a Cleric turn with this deck, even when in hand, it is not there to counter board tempo. If cleric doesn't draw a card its been wasted, the only exception to this rule is paladin and maybe hunter, pending on if you have AOE, you may just to tempo.

Basic matchups

Warlock (Favoured) - draw, heal wipe/silence their board. If they tap below 20HP its GG even without a complete combo.

Paladin (Tossup, pending good mulligan)- counter board and outlast, you will not get to the combo before dying, you play this matchup as if it were control.

Druid (Favoured) - Its easy to control the board against druid, the real key is chip damage to ensure they don't pull armor up shenanigans. Even against Tollywoggly decks, just make sure they cant burn cards on you (throw cards from hand that aren't critical, etc), don't overload your board, and let them help you draw to combo.

Rogue (Unfavoured) - it can be a win but the tempo and saps can easily make you get stuck with no resses and combo goodness,

Warrior (50/50) - Control warrior is a decent matchup, however, Baku warrior destroys this deck. The Max combo from hand in one turn with empty board is 56, 96 if have the coin and save it. Since this deck doesn't offer a lot of pressure you need to use DK Anduin as total offence to keep their armor in check. In 11 runs ins with Baku Warrior I managed a decent 5 wins 6 loses and it IS the most polarized match against this deck,

Hunter (Unfavoured) - If you can't mulligan removal and keep their board empty its going to be a lose. Survive early game, win late game The combo is often required as you won't get chip damage in while saving your face.

Shaman (Heavily Favoured) - Shaman is just too slow and can't get their life total up past 40/46 under perfect circumstances. Even with a Shudder deck that Hexed Alex, Maly and Velen I was still able to chip them down against 2 turns of Shudder.

Priest (Favoured) - Basically remove their board and chip their face, spiteful T6 is their only chance and even then it doesn't guarantee the game for your opponent.

Mage (50/50) - Secret will wreck you this deck, however, Lich Jaina decks are easy with Iceblock gone.

Lastly, this deck is meant to be challenging to play but have a good winrate in the current meta. If you like going face all day this won't be for you. If you like making critical decisions and outplaying your opponent, have fun - this deck is no the be all or end all of anything, just fun and challenging while maintaining a certain level of competiveness.

And finally, please enjoy.
