Tavern Brawl #4 - The Great Summoner Competition
The fourth tavern brawl is now live, and we're building our own decks this week.
The design challenge this week is to build a deck primarily with spells, since each time you cast a spell, a random minion of the same mana cost gets summoned. The Value!
If you've created an awesome deck for this brawl, share it using our deckbuilder. Set the deck type to Tavern Brawl and then select the subcategory "The Great Summoner Competition". If you'd like to check out other decks the community has created, you can find them all in this filtered deck search. BRAWL ON!
Tavern Brawl #4 Starts Tomorrow
The Webspinner Brawl concluded this weekend and tomorrow, a new one begins! Countdowns for this week's brawl can be found below. Will we have premade decks again this week, or maybe we'll finally get a fun deck building challenge.

Priest and Paladin have been the most consistent winners for me. Druid is a close follow up. Shaman are structurally screwed.
Pyroblast rocks!
I tried mage, but without flamewaker I kinda sucked. Turns out full-spells priest is really efficient. Being able to mind control their biggest minion AND get a free deathwing is pretty hilarious.
My PC is under repair. Hope I don't miss this week's Brawl.
Druid, by far is the best class. Won my last 3 games by turn 6, at the latest. Power of the Wild, Turn 1 Claws, Turn 2 MoWs...Turn 3 Savage Roar, just for the shot at a 6 ATK Wolfrider!
Until you realize your mage opponent has about 24 removal spells and can Pyro you to the face and get a giant out of it.
You keep thinkin' that about durid, though! Made my win just that much easier.
I've been having success with paladin. Those cheap secrets are tearing it up, and muster for battle with buffs next turns is great
Lol, went 7-0 with mage and priest decks made of all the spells i had + like 5 minions :D
lol @ Oil Rogue.
Board looks like Zoo, with all the flying weapons.
I actually like this one. I don't like the RNG as much but being able to build a deck around it as opposed to picking a class and being handed a deck like the Webspinner one. Mage is dominating but I actually like Warrior and Paladin in this mode.
Poor Shaman, his overload is screwing him this week. :(
Yep…
Tried it but turned out horrible…
Oh nice. More RNG Brawl, how fun.
It actually really is. The gained minions might be random, still you need to create a specific deck. For example I´ve realized after my first game that using Mirror Entity was a shit idea. Kind of like that.
I don't feel this week's Brawl is as RNG as it was last week.
Entered tavern brawl => made a hunter deck => searched for an opponent => opponent conceded immediately => got the pack => played ranked and that's it for this week's brawl
same with mage and opponent conceding in 5 round
One win and it is probably for me as well. But still it is fun :) I am one of the few who believe that RNG effects make hearthstone more fun. especially in a casual mode like brawl.
You can't have thirty card decks without having randomness built into the cards directly. If your only element of randomness was draw order from such a small pool of cards, there simply would be far too little of it and most games would be nearly identical to the last.
Oh, Man. In my first minutes of this brawl i was like: "Ok, so, the spell effect turned into some random minion of the same cost". And my first opponent Mage open was Mana Wyrm, Coin, Mirror image. And i realized that, the spell effect doesn't countered.
I conceded instantly.
WHY BLIZZARD? WHY DO YOU DO THIS?!
ps: Thanks for free pack anyway
