Overhyped. I doubt you will see more than 3 cards. You also don’t get card advantage since you spend a card too. the bran shadowstep shenanigans might let you delete your opponents hand while deleting you own hand. Not to mention it is completely dependent on wether or not the secrets are good enough to justify playing while also at least one of them being difficult to trigger. Because secret plus this is either 5 mana or 3 mana 3 cards from your hand vs one away from your opponents hand. Furthermore it doesn’t delete a wincon, just shuffles it back. If you play it for the instant impact (dh denying a important card next turn) you could also play coilfang. Not to mention that your opponent can just topdeck it instantly…
WTF??? BLIZZARD Why print this??? How can you gives Rouge an effect like this, and at 3 mana??? Again printing nothing to do against, unfair, unfun to play against cards... When/how did your test team approve this...
This one particularly looks especially troublesome, returning half of your opponent's cards when using stuff like Brann and Shadowstep, leaving them almost empty handed ! Hmm yea... looks "fair" xD
How is Shadowstep even still in Standart ?! that card generates soooo much unfair bullsh't.
Rogue most Hated class by far, every expansion new unfair mechanics.
with shadow step is insane
This seems so busted
guess we are getting a new rogue secret
Rogue secrets are busted... nobody even knows what they are.
Actual secrets.
Seems super easy to leave your opponent with no cards with this.
Demon Hunter had a more restrictive version that cost 4 and saw sparing use. This is 1 mana cheaper, with on curve stats, and an epic so you can have 2. And Brann is now in Standard.
So one of the most toxic cards I've ever seen.
And you forgot to add the most important stuff , that this is a ROUGE card ,with bounce/copy mechanics
Have their hand replace your hand during the selection process.
I wish cards like this just didn't exist. I just don't think they're fun, regardless of how good or bad they are.
But that's just like, my opinion, man.
Better Star Student Stelina, and for a class that can bounce cards in their hand. I love this card already.
And it's battlecry...
Where is Brann when we need it?
The issue I have with cards like these is it gives a real advantage to those using a deck tracker (beyond the advantages a deck tracker already provides). Imo (and I know other will disagree) deck trackers should either be prohibited, or included and supported within the Hearthstone UI by default.
I know people will always say "you could do all that with pen/paper" etc. In reality you can't/wont...
Nah. Just get the deck tracker. If you don't that's on you.
You don't ban the deck tracker. That's never the move.
It's the same issue WoW has - an overreliance on add-ons that give extreme advantages over people that don't have them.
Deck tracker should be in the engine itself if they think people should have them. What is Blizzard's excuse.
Why should Blizzard sink resources into developing a UI component the fans will make for free?
If your answer has anything to do with integrity or ethics, I'm going to laugh in your face.
Because a competent developer who doesn't want their game plagued by add-ons effecting competitive integrity does that?
Because MOST of your playerbase doesn't download add-ons and thus would have a vastly improved player experience by you doing your job?
Do you work at Activision? You perfectly encapsulate how their development team's direction have gone downhill over the last decade.
Agree in this case they should leave the cards you've seen revealed or identifiable in the UI somehow. A decktracker is a massive help if you've just seen a large hand
