seems like aggro is dead
knowing they also take a board slot, locations look really bad as a deck inclusion. Maybe generated they arent as bad but the value is so minor for their cost.
Unity, precision, paladin cards Elitist Snob
Kel'Thuzad, the Inevitable?
Thanos has entered the chat.
If his voice line isn't "I'm inevitable", I'm gonna be really sad.
Inching closer to Undead tribe. Awesome.
Might be the quickest nerfs Team 5 has ever implemented.
Damn the volatile skeleton thing might be real. The deathrattle on them is good, and KT could be insane. Wonder if there’s a way for mage to discount a minion. Brann and kt would be insane!
pls no mana discount... it's disgusting to see decks that fill up the board by turn 4-6...
It feels that the only way for Dev team to make any board-based archetype competitive is by giving mana cheating/reduction.. Mech Mage, Mech Paladin, Naga Priest, Control Warrior, DH, Beast Hunter, Big Spell Mage, Murloc Shaman, Thief Rogue, ... and this makes me realize that Warlock is bad right now because it doesn't have many mana reduction cards like it used to in 2021...
I must say... the new type card locations have some interesting pleasing art, love it. Hope they really use them in next expansions but it looks like that yes, if it is a new card type.
I am incredibly excited for shadow priest to actually have access to some good card draw.
Skeleton mage looks like it could be fun archetype.
Hope it doesn't turn into Mine Rogue...
whats wtih the weird censoring of cards, just show them off lol
They gave exclusive rights to streamers and media to reveal certain cards
They did later on in the stream. Not sure why they chose to not reveal it the first time it showed up. Maybe cause they didn't discuss it at that point and only was on screen briefly.
It's part of the cards they revealed official art for too, so it's not some kind of accident either.
Skeleton Deck looks fun with N'zoth + New Kel'thuzad
Seein mage too heavy on the skeleton synergy seems like the expansion will be a one dimensional one just like Sunken City.
Seems like a weird thing to complain about. Classes actually getting cards to put a functioning archetype together. If Blizzard does the opposite then people will start complaining about how Blizzard supports a bunch of useless archetypes that won't see play or the deck never even comes together because there just aren't enough cards for it.
This is a lot of what happens in early expansion, Freeze Shaman during KotF for instance was a prime example. An archetype that could never exist at the time because there just weren't enough cards to support it and those that did exist were terrible.
Keep in mind we've only seen 6/10 Mage cards and typically sets usually consist of two archetypes per class. Mages in Sunken City had Mech and Naga packages, we're likely going to see another, different package for Mage.
