Solid card. Primordial Drake seen play, this will see play.
5/9/7+Consecration+possible heal with Vandar Stormpike discount. Not bad.
9/7 plus a consecrate every turn. This is how expensive minions should be designed - powerful with comeback mechanics.
This is really cool. I think N'zoth/Menagerie Paladin has had potential for a while. This certainly helps that archetype, though I don't know what decks this is even good against at this point? All the popular decks are running pretty big minions.
It does do some face damage, though, so there is that.
Nice to know if you kill your opponent with this, you'll regain 4 health. Good value.
Well don't forget you need to kill them while they have 2 HP left or else you won't get the healing.
Ehehe 9/7 so quirky not like the other dragons hurt myself from trying too hard
So, if I'm correct, you would also heal if you happen to kill a 9 hp taunt or something with this?
Yes
Baron Geddon cries in a corner
You can still use geddon in a DK Jaina deck for the life steal c:
7/7/7 is better than 8/9/7 that 2 attack isnt that menacing. Yes Baron hits also you and your board but what really makes this better is the dragon tag for paladin.
Nice card for Midrange/Control N'Zoth Paladin..
But unless the meta slows down, Paladin still sticks with Secret/Libram/Handbuff archetypes until they are rotated out in April 2022
If it survives a turn, you can play Gift of Luminance on it for added damage and fun. Plus it’s a great minion to bring back with N’Zoth.
An astonishing looking card, that's probably useless in today's Hearthstone. Consecration on a stick, with a really fun exact-lethal healing mechanic? That's amazing. Or would have been, once upon a time. Maybe there's enough early-game stall in Paladin, but is there enough payoff for a slow paladin? Just makes me depressed about the state of Hearthstone, looking at this. It ought to be so good, but I doubt it'll work.
By "does absolutely nothing", you mean lacks Battlecry? It clearly does something - AOE of the enemy board. It also has the potential to heal for every 2 health enemy minion on board.
Basically, quit being so dramatically incorrect.
Man that arena's gonna see a lot of paladins soon
All I see is this in my wild Duel! Big Dragon Paladin Deck. Literally rubbing my hands together like Mr. Burns
Nice card if it's generated, summoned or pulled onto the board because the end of turn effect still triggers. It's not a candidate for decks based on its own inherent strength though but could find a place if a midrange board based Paladin deck is good.
This is only powerful if it heals for 4 each time a minion dies, nightmare to deal with for Aggro, since it has invisible Taunt.
Also since it's end of Turn, it keeps healing while killing stuff, so that's actually better than a Battlecry for this particular effect.
Still 8 Mana is a lot of weight in any Meta in 2021, for this to be swingy you need the right setup, have Immovable Object equipped for Half damage.
Great control card, but Paly has to pray that Aggro pushes out Big Spell Mage from Ranked (which it likely will)
