- Gruul
- Natalie Seline
- Jaina Proudmoore
- Vol'jin
- Ragnaros
- Diablo
- Varden Dawngrasp
- Cairne Bloodhoof
- Anduin Wrynn
- Tavish Stormpike
- Blink Fox
- Prophet Velen
- Cookie, The Cook
- Blademaster Samuro
- Baron Geddon
- Rexxar
- King Mukla
- Malfurion Stormrage
Gruul, the anti Meta inclusion in many of the best mercenaries teams sits proudly at no. 1, followed by Natalie Seline at no. 2 and Jaina Proudmoore at no. 3. Seeing Diablo only at no. 6 is a little bit surprising though!
We can also see a few things when we combine the Individual Rankings with the Team Comps above. No. 6 Diablo is in EVERY team. So is no. 8 Cairne Bloodhoof. They are followed by no. 2 Natalie Seline in three of the six teams. The same applies to no. 14 Blademaster Samuro, no. 4 Vol'jin and no. 5 Ragnaros. After that there's only characters that show up twice at most.
Interestingly the no. 1 Gruul and the no. 3 Jaina Proudmoore only show up once in the best mercenaries team comps, while ranking high individually. The highest ranked Individual Mercenary that does NOT show up in any of the team comps is Cookie, the Cook, at no. 13. Given that he just came out it is not too surprising however that he has not found his place yet.

Agreed. Which was my point. The comp are diverses if u understand how merc Works. Many différents beginning comp with many différents tech choices to counter. Mercenary feels more diverses that standard. Shadow just so happens to be the most popular
I have to agree here. Why attack into another mercenary with 20+ power and take damage when you can just be a caster and get the kill with no damage in return? At a faster speed too. They need to buff the melee guys. They are indeed slow and die faster due to taking damage when trying to deal it to others.
"Regular" red units, you know, PROTECTORS are shit, slow, almost as easy to kill as any other merc and punished by retaliation.
Why would you play them?
So basically Holy/Shadow/Frost opener, with the eternal bench of Cairne/Diablo and a filler unit being either Ragnaros/Blink Fox/Gruul or Cookie. I wonder if the Cairne Ankh nerf is going to change anything about that.
Being in nearly every comp means also being in those comps that lose more frequently.
