So slow yourself down and get 8/8 with taunt and 8 attack+armor (+10 armor and card draw from other tiers).
Yeah I'm just gonna dust on sight.
Most underwhelming quest reward 😞
Worst reward out of all quests, including ungoro and uldum.
"Gain 8 attack this turn" wtf?? That's Inner Demon on a stick. Most unnoriginal quest reward ever, doesn't change anything about how you play the game. Even the art story is shit, guff found some squirrels in a park and went sicko mode on some guards? While we have Cariel and Tamsin waging a war with each other or Varden doing a prison break.
Number 1 spot for most disappointing card this expansion.
Just wait to play against druid, who plays this against you turn 7-8 with spikey mark, than next turn coin into guff into solar eclipse and spikey mark and next turn the same (he gets extra spikey mark from nature studies) and turn 10 plays 2 more and turn 11 again extra one.
So for total of 40 mana gets 6 8/8 taunt (3 of which will have extra buffs) and 48 damage and 48 armor.
It actually sounds like fun and I hope this quest works well.
yeah any card is OP if you only consider the perfect scenario.
And i never said it wasn't good, just that it's lazy and boring design. You can't possibly believe gaining 8 attack for 1 turn is as interesting as what warlock, priest, shaman, paladin and mage got
I think this was made with consideration, that you can play several 8/8s gain 8 attack and 8 armor in the game.
This minion/questline just makes sense in druid due to the taunt synergies. Which is kinda cool. and I like it more than mage quest (weird combination of spells for +3 spell damage) or Paladin (playing 9 1-cost cards to buff hero power)
Aggro Druid??????
This is the best questline so far imo. It's fun, practical, completable, and you can build a realistic deck around this that doesn't have to be solely focused on the quest.
It's the most completable but also the least imaginative. But you're wrong this does take a lot of build around. Druids don't typically run cards that give their hero attack because they're generally pretty bad.
I guess the main strength in this quest is in the "gain 18 armor", yea it provides decent survivability actually.
Just realized that this suddenly sheds a new light on Mark of the Spikeshell...
A typo from translation, the final reward has taunt

Edit, oh ok, already solved in here, dont mind me then
This is going to be good i think, but its really sad that the druid is the only class who gets a one time use thing.
boring, not interesting, weak effect, and yes you need to build a special deck for this garbage
Like you don't need to build special decks for other questlines.. hhaah
The priest question line just requires you to play cards coating a certain amount of mana. Hardly a build around, and the payoff is an OTK. This druid quest requires you to play a bunch of bad cards for a subpar payout. Even if this ends up being good, it's very boring and unimaginative
That protect the squirrels art is pretty hilarious
For once in its life, Savagery would be a good card to run with this questline... where are you, man?
I like the idea of feral druid synergy, but there needs to be more to make this worthwhile.
Yeah, reminds me of KotfT's Malfurion's DK. The dumbest and less exciting of the bunch, yet it saw massive play because it usually came down way sooner than the others, without particular board requirements.
This one though still forces you to invest in hero damage, which actually never worked well for druid.
But yeah, being the only one (as of today, at least) not providing you a permanent bonus really feels as something's wrong.
