I wonder what archetype this fits in best. My first thought is Token/Aggro type stuff, since you get to smash them in the face for an extra 4 and then have a big guy that drops another guy, but maybe a slower archetype is also interested in this as pure removal - it's like a Restless Mummy as a buff. You drop some random minion you have, Rush it into their biggest dude, kill it, and then you get to also Rush into some random small thing that's hanging around. Pretty good, seeing as big removal is traditionally what Druid struggles the most with.
Restless Mummy is probably better. This needs another card to be usable that makes it a pseudo 2 for 1. But Druid is light on removal so maybe its stronger then it looks. It also just might fit into some agro druid deck down the road because its basically a better Blessing of Kings. Still I can see this being great as a discover/random find and should also excel in other modes like Arena.
It gives more stats overall, and it can provide favourable trades with bigger minions. I think that it is great in token druid.
I think this stronger than Restless Mummy. Because it's a buff you can hit face if there are no minions to kill and it may allow you to hit an enemy minion and survive because of the increased total health instead of just running 2 low health minions into the same minion. Also being a spell it has more synergy and potential to be discounted (lunar/cosmic eclipse etc.). It' just whether or not it will fit a Druid archetype that is competitive in the new meta.
Interesting removal card, i wonder if it will find a home.
Pretty sketchy usefulness with the current state of Druid.
That's REALLY strong good lord. Just play it on a 1/1 token on turn 5; that turnabout without considering any other synergies or board status is already crazy.
The strongest Mount so far. Board control has been the most deciding factor in HS for the past years, and this card does its job outstandingly. It may be run in Guardian Animals archetypes when you accidentaly draw one of your 5 mana beasts, so you don't lose all of the beasts value.
Not great, but solid card and may be used as one of in Guardian Animals Druid.
Druid always likes having board control options, and this is pretty intense board control.
Also... 4 damage for 4 isn't too great, but can maybe work as a decent finisher.
Kinda weird these mount cards are tokens and aren't minions in their own right like Spikeridge Steed was, but I guess that makes sense.
FYI it's 4 damage for 8 if your dude dies since the Kodo also has rush.
Wouldn't that make it 8 damage for 4 rather than the other way around like you put it?

I meant to face.
This plus samuro. Not hard for Druid.
It's a good combo for sure, but since Blademaster Samuro already has rush this doesn't really have much more synergy than any of the myriad buffs druid already has. Sure, it's a good amount of damage and the rush on deathrattle isn't bad either, but realistically something like Mark of the Spikeshell is a better combo for the simple fact that it comes down two turns earlier. A board clear on 8 mana is often too late against nearly any agro deck. And when you consider that Samuro doesn't see any play in Druid with their current buffs, I doubt it will see play with Kodo Mount either. But of course that all depends on the other cards in the set.
op
The hunter one seems way better than this, but I'm sure there will be some application where giving a minion rush in the late game will be good.
I guess like.. you just played a Teacher's Pet, and then next turn trade it into something, then you give the beast that pops out rush with this?
Maybe another card from this set will synergize with this better.
Would have preferred defensive stats and possibly taunt. Too aggro for what I like to play
Good in arena
Nice for clearing minions, was expecting a little bit more power.
