With nitroboost poison nerfed this is severely nerfed as well.
The samey design with Xaril, Poisoned Mind is pretty lame too.
Just bad, especially considering the fact this was made with prenerf nitroboost poison in mind. Even then it would be questionable to put in your deck. Needs to be 3 mana. Current poisons are way worse than xarils toxins, unfortunately a wasted opportunity. At least we wont need to get any rogue legendary this expansion so we save some dust. :)
Its a reach card, something rogue has in spades. I don't think it will fit but maybe there's an empty slot someplace
I miss when Rogue was the waifu class
Could be ok as combo that costs 3 mana,
at 4 this will not see play
I love a rogue putting poison on a hammer.
Think of the practicality.
With a blade, you poison it with the intent if introducing the poison in to your target's system via cutting.
With a hammer, you are going for one of two things; disability via broken bones, or death. Poisoning a hammer is hilarious. :)
Edit - this was meant as a reply about Paralytic Poison, God have mercy on my soul.
Even so, excellent point.
Maybe they want to splash it on their opponent's face while they swing at them? Still doesn't sound like a great plan...
The effect isn’t bad, but since the poisons also cost mana, this has the same tempo loss problem as Xaril
si i asked to change Xarils toxins to poisons, but also remaking Xaril but for poisons isnt bad either.
it should be combo or else too slow
Battlecries don't typically require you to have to play another card prior to getting the effect off like combos always do. So, how is combo faster than a battlecry exactly?
cause aggro dont run this, and deathrattle is a joke. Xaril, Poisoned Mind never be a real thing
Solid card for 4 mana. Maybe it'll see play in the right deck although I think is way too slow for aggro rogue
Seems like people are really sleeping on Paralytic Poison you guys have no idea how good is immunity or you just want to believe in some pseudo-pro player that called it shit but it really isn't. Works really well with the new weapon that same pseudo-pros called unplayble and worse Assassin's Blade, hilarious.
It's certainly good for more control-oriented rogue but the problem is that with what's left after rotation there's almost nothing left for control rogue. Rogue is pretty much the tempo class at this point and this legendary and Paralytic Poison isn't that good for tempo. I can only hope we get more fun control card
I am not a pro or pseudo-pro, but I can tell the New weapon is the worse Self-sharpening Sword. Stock its 4 dmg vs 10. 1 buff its 4+4+4 = 12 dmg vs 3+4+5+6= 18. 2 buffs its 6+6+6+6=24 vs 5+6+7+8= 26. Only with 3 buffs it beats it...
Great card for Duels. With card generation to contest board, this might be scary for control decks to play against in standard with the new weapon. It could turn into infinite durability on the weapon going face with some pressure on board that needs to be answered.
Do we know what the card pool is for poisons? Just any card in the rotation with the word "Poison" in it?
I like the look of this for a more board-centric rogue deck. Seems neat.
literal same statline, literal same cost, literal same battlecry and deathrattle.
Guys, you can literally get same cards by playing Wandmaker. Do you want (as a rogue) to pay 2 more to get 1 more spell and +1 attack? I dont know, I am not convinced this will see play in agressive rogue. In some kind of tempo rogue, maybe...
