In tempo rogue, you could probably run both. A lot of value generation is rotating out (pharaoh cat, miscreant, whirlkick, etc), so it will need cards to fill those gaps. Aggro rogue, on the other hand, doesn’t really care about value generation, so probably won’t see play in stealth/face rogue.
Both of rogue's legendary is 4 mana but the power level is so far apart lmao.
I mean compare this to EVIL Miscreant. Same amount of stats, I think lackey is better than poison and Miscreant cost 1 less. the only saving grace is Miscreant is rotating out
Lackeys are better than poisons by themselves, but if you have the new shank equipped, poison is much better than a lackey.
The problem with new shank is that you need 3 poisons for it to be better than Self-Sharpening Sword (1+2+3+4=10 dmg) and your opponent should already bite the dust by the time you swing your 4th hit of 3+ poison weapon so I think it's not as good as SSS
That’s only the case for aggro rogue. I think as a tempo rogue, you might end up swinging at minions for a few durability
Does anybody agree, that we should riot, because Blizzard litteraly reprinted this card?
How many card is blizzard reprinting? I am counting a lot.
I mean, it generates a completely different set of cards, so it's very different altogether?
This one draws from the existing pool of Poison spell cards. (Deadly Poison, Paralytic Poison, etc.)
Xaril, Poisoned Mind draws from a pool of Toxin cards that generally aren't very good and don't have synergy with the cards they're actively printing this set.
It's not a reprint just because you don't know how the game works.
Next time i will just skip 2 lines and write:
sarcasm ended.
thanks for the downvotes xD
You should learn how sarcasm works. Until then use the "sarcasm ended".
Be quick about your business
Strange card. It seems for an aggressive weapon deck but with this body it is not aggressive at all. I don't know.
I think it will end up in tempo rogue. I think the shank will be the new "questing adventurer." Play a bunch of poisons, get a ludicrous weapon, and smash em.
Maybe but it is strange as card for tempo rogue. This is not a tempo card. It makes you to lose tempo.
Not if you can play it for 1 mana. Also, current tempo rogue also has turns where it “loses tempo” to generate value. Evil miscreant, pharaoh cat, wand thief, and whirlkick are all statted poorly because they generate value and all of them are in tempo rogue.
I think you are making confusion. You are evaluating a card based another one considering the possibility of playing them toughener (which is wrong by math). Evil miscreant, pharaoh cat and wand thief are tempo cards. Whirlkick is not a tempo card and it is not in a tempo deck but in a sort of old miracle which is not a tempo deck.
I don't know what kind of definition you have for tempo deck, this definition originally started I think with tempo Keleseth rogue. Tempo at the time and also now means overstated minions or effects that allow you to gain tempo, therefore play more mana Cristal. You cannot say that Apothecary Helbrim is tempo due to the other legendary, otherwise all cards are tempo. Apothecary Helbrim is not a tempo card. Maybe it will be played in a tempo deck, we will see, but by itself is a tempo loss.
And this was by the way the original comment. Strange that a card for aggro/tempo is a tempo loss.
Well meta snapshot sites like tempostorm call tempo decks with whirlkick masters tempo rogue. If you want to call it miracle rogue, fine. It will be playable in miracle rogue then.
Tempostorm which is by the way the worst website for decks can call it as they want. Far better Hs replay or Hearthstone top deck or hearthstone meta stats and so on. Tempostorm is indeed the only one in calling it tempo rogue, which is not tempo. All the other websites are calling it Whirlkick Rogue, no miracle and no tempo rogue. So it is not me that I am wrong. It is tempo storm that is wrong. Whirlkick is not a tempo card 2 mana 1/2 for cycle cards sucks as tempo.
So then this is just semantics. I don't really care for semantics, you can call it whatever you want, but I am thinking of the deck with many giant tempo swings in it. Yes, whirlkick itself is not a tempo card, but the vast majority of the cards in the deck are tempo cards. If it's still not considered a tempo deck, I don't care, but it will still have many tempo-based cards in it.
