Depends. Right now, paladin is pretty tempo orientated, and pressing the button really is a dud turn outside of the really long game (or it's turn 7 and you're just making a 7 mana 9/9 with authority). However, if paladin ever shifts from a tempo to a heavy midrange or control gameplan, you can probably expect this guy to turn up. The cards are there now for it to succeed, and I actually have my hopes on a n'zoth paladin being the method we get there, but I feel this might only materialise in the next year, when pure paladin properly rotates out, which will be a shame for the other legendary.
Well, this makes the corruptible summon 3/5 silver hand recruits make more sense now. If there's just a tad more support, maybe dudadin might be a thing. Hell, this is a demon that wants you to go for the long game, maybe N'zoth dudadin becomes a deck. That would be pretty interesting.
I think people are under appreciating this cards power level. It looks insanely powerful, because you can buff your recruits and trade 'for free' on board. That is immensely powerful, and in control match ups opponent cant deal two (1) chip damage every turn. Really powerful, I like this card.
Dudes with bubbles, hooray!
It could be even more op if it gives bubbles to dudes already in board, only new dudes get bubbles
It's cool to see this archetype being revived in standard
Boring
Pretty decent in standard while it can't make wild Paladin even more broken when most games are over on turn 4. I see what u did there Blizz, great moves keep it up.

Funny, recently someone on this forum was saying that paladin can't have demons. I replied that he should think about Lothraxion...and here were go..a Lothraxion card. :D
Warcraft demons have been ruined by the fact that they are now just any species that have become fel infused.
So would a Lightforged Natherezim still be a demon? Im not sure.
Lothraxion is not classified as a demon ingame :D
I'm not sure how good this is in standard. It's bad tempo (5 mana 5/5 do nothing) and heropowering in turns 5+ doesn't feel great (even if it has divine shield). Libram of Wisdom could save it though.
It'll be able to corrupt Day at the Faire and you'll get 5 1/1's with DS.
Fair enough, I forgot about that card. I still remain kinda skeptical, I think this is one of those cards we'll have to wait and see.
Wow. Such a BS card. Holy s*it...
Can standard players please stop saying how OP this will be in Wild? If you've played Odd Pally in Wild you would know this is waaaay too slow to make the cut. You're aiming to WIN by turn 5, not set up your game plan. T5 in odd Pally is either quartermaster, loatheb or blessing of authority, not 5 mana do nothing. Wild is all about tempo as an aggro deck.
Not to mention most board clears post turn 5 don't care about divine shield (mass hysteria, plague of flames, defile, scream, Zeph, brawl).
Exactly! This would not be the immediate win condition, rather a turning point if the game isn't going well for you.
That depends on your matchup. If you play against Priest, than yes, you need to win by turn 5. If you are playing against anything with a board (AKA the rest of the meta), you can't expect to play Quartermaster and win instantly.
Having permanent Divine Shield on your hero power and cards like Vinecleaver IS worth it, in my opinion.
Nerfed in first week. Mark my words
lol unless 4 last cards are actually supporting dude paladin rather than creating a new archetype(pretty likely) then this is more or less just bad in current standard
Odd wild paladin be like:
