How is this good on its own? The evarage card cost in the average deck is probably 3. So you play a 6/8 for 7 to get a discount of 2 on a radom 3-drop with no synergie. Sounds terrible to me, waaay to slow and way better value alternatives. Also I feel like a mediocre 7 drop would not suddenly make this big warrior/paladin arcetype good considering these cards were already in a game for a long time.
For sure, but the idea is there. A 6/8 body is good if pulled with Duel!, plus you get a card from your opponents deck which would be reduced to (1) and be an upside 99% of the time.

It's better then stealing a 3-drop from your opponent and still play for 3 mana. How much the discount is doesn't care, a discount is a discount. Also you know what kind of card your opponent has when he draws and you get card generation, which is another way to get cards in your hand. Decks like highlander hunter (curve decks) has less draw and one extra card which cost 1 is better. And if you play against HL mage or Hunter and get Reno, Zephrys or DQ Alextraza in your hand for 1. Hmmmm Thinking...
This is not a Priest Legendary just to get it out of the Galakrond's pool. Kappa
speaking of the card itself, i think it's a 4/5 star card, from effect to design. speaking of which deck will include this card, the obvious choices are Embiggen Druid and Big Paladin, this card can shine in a control meta, so i think that could be a tech card in some tournament deck. great if spawns randomly from evolve or calling.

This is bonkers. At least you're going to steal one card from your opponent and make it cost 1. This card will be game defining. Direct counter to Lorekeeper Polkelt. Nice 10 mana card b0y.
This is a must in Highlander Mage.
I dunno, it just costs too much to see play, but this is a nice minion to show up through means of evolving or Conjurer's Calling shenanigans
Dude, this one is "get a copy of the top card of your opponent's deck, it costs 1" in the worst case scenario. It's bananas. In control matches, this sole card can win you the game. If they reordered your deck, you throw this and GG, a 10 mana card which costs 1 seems pretty OP to me.
The 8 health makes it EXTREMELY difficult to clear. And remember that Druid (and now shaman lol) can ramp pretty quickly. If they drop this at turn 4, guaranteed you won't be able to clear it for at least two turns. That's basically like dropping a Dragonqueen Alexstrasza with a bigger card pool...
"Dude"...I think this card is way over hyped and not that good..
So, at the base this card is a potential value generator, like if you drop this on turn 7, end your turn and then you get a 1 mana card from your opponent... if this card was a little bit cheaper or if it was a 6/6 or a 6/7 with taunt, I would actually craft this, but unfortunately, it doesn't.
Pretty good against control and pretty crap against aggro...shame...
A good counterplay, after your opponent sorted his deck from highest to lowest.
This plus demon hunter's new glide card seems like a sick combo, but dh wants to do aggro things more than this.

It's probably gonna get nerfed to 8 or even 9. Reason is Druid dropping a 7-cost on turn 4 is gonna become easier with the new 0 mana. Not too many ways to handle a 8 health so fast.
Wouldn’t you ratherly just play exotic mountseller instead though?
I came back to edit this, can't for some reason. I figured it's not AS good, kinda mage's fireballer. It's probably better 5th turn with shaman than with druid on early mana stuff.
My luck with mountseller is awful :p
If the problem is druid, then nerf druid. don't see why this should be nerfed for druid ramping if it gets broken

Lower gilde one mana and then make a steal minion deck for demon hunter...
Otherwise a good combo with Coldlight Oracle in wild for classes with a bad draw... (maybe)
