Quote from BlizzardHey everyone!

*Once these changes are live, players will be able to disenchant the adjusted cards for their full Arcane Dust value for two weeks.

So should I craft golden copies of the cards now?
Why is that people talk about Mogu Fleshshaper being buffed?
The point of raising the mana cost is that it delays him. It's significantly easier to deal with a 10 drop by turn 5-6 rather than an 8 drop by turn 3. Mogu Fleshshaper will probably still be a good card against decks that spam the board for the trade+mutate but is much weaker against slower decks - thus making him less consistent. It's a solid nerf.
Corrupt Elementalist is also a decent nerf as it delays Shamans t5. No more coin+correupt elemntalist and then wolves. This nerf delays shaman a turn or two making it weaker to aggro decks.
If you think these nerfs will change something then you are plain stupid. The Real problems here are shuddertwat and galakrond's battlecry. Blizzard can't admit it they fucked up this expansion
Faceless Corruptor is still OP AF. It should have been like 3/3!
Exactly. Why do you need to play other cards if you have this.
Available 10 drop minions for Mogu + Mutate;
Emeriss
Kalecgos
Nozari
Jumbo Imp
Boom Reaver
Big Bad Archmage
Colossus of the Moon
Deathwing
Hakkar
King Phaoris
Living Monument
Mecha'thun
Sea Giant
I'd argue only one of these is really a low roll, with Nozari being fairly meh, but 11 times of 13 you're going to get at least 16 stats on board with potential upsides from Kalecgos, Big Bad Archmage, Colossus and Hakkar (whether Hakkar is an upside is a bit unclear).
The change prevents too many early game shenanigans though (pushing back the earliest 0-cost play from turn ~4 to ~6). On balance I think it's still going to be a strong and frustrating card to play against, but you might have more answers when it gets plopped down. I would have liked to see it as a 3/3 or even as a 3/2 to prevent the "play for 0, value trade, then mutate into something massive" as this means the opponent still has more board to counter the massive tempo of mogu/mutate.
No changes in regards to priest... Are you kidding me?
No more amalgam. That's a HUGE change for bg.
And no more Brann
Brann was removed as a HERO, not as a Card.
Yes sorry, didn't clarify. I meant as a hero. Much harder to chain buy battlecries with as much meaning without an amalgam to slap them all on to. He will still be good don't get me wrong, but would have waited to see just how good rather than removing him now.
Guys.
The nerfs were NOT made to kill shaman, just to change the fact, that almost all the time shaman had a perfect play each turn. There nerfs are ok, could be better because the biggest problem were the 2/1 with rush and 2x 8/8 rush with a weapon times two because of Shudderwock.
I don't fear that meta will be overflooded with shaman because people come up with new decks, and Already some of them were beating shaman. I look forward to see more changes in the future so gl everyone and have a nice 4 7/7 Day.
meanwhile hunter and rogue free reigns and crash and burns the rest of something called a "meta"
if that even exists, all i see is the same shit. grats, blizz! now you spawned 2 in its place
like cancer it keeps multiplying...
this whole situation needs like 5 more fixes at least
Actually, since rogue and hunter are so popular, my paladin has been kicking it on ladder and I have been having a great time.
Rogue needs to highroll and a silence will make them concede or destroy them.
Hunter cries in a corner once I play kangorsmith with flash of light or amber drake.
It's called tech, and it is one if the most important things in HS. Teching vs these decks requires you to swap out 2 or 3 cards to up your winrate by a bunch. Teching vs shaman means you make an entirely different deck that only goes face. See the difference?
everything pretty good, but the faceless is still ridiculous
8 rushing attack on 2 bodies for 5, pretty much off the charts regardless
PS: holy crap they actually killed the amalgam... total bummer, dude
not even close to be enough to stop shaman...
Faceless Corruptor will be one of the few cards, like Rogue Quest, to be nerfed more than once. I just don’t understand why they only changed it by one attack. A 5 mana 4/4 rush that summons another 4/4 rush is still very good. It’s a neutral card so it will continue to see play in nearly every deck it can possibly fit in just because of its utility. The card itself is about as unfun and uninteractive as you can get. It doesn’t encourage any interesting plays aside from knowing that 90% of the time you have to clear everything on turn 4 so your opponent can’t stick one of these guys and completely wreck your board. Not a fan of this card at all. It’s unnecessarily strong and will continue to push out other 5 drop options until it isn’t clearly the best choice by a mile.
100% right. It's even worse than fungalmancer (imo), because the requirement for max value is lower, and rush allows it to turn same turn junk into massive tempo swings. Rush in general definitely feels overdone lately. It seems that they think the tit-for-tat of rush trading for board (however predictable and monotonous) is somehow better/different than marginal board buffs. They all end up hitting face.
When a card that's keeping out Big Ol Welp, a dragon more powerful statwise than Azure Drake which was rotated to give other 5 drops a chance you know there's an issue. Honestly, a 3/2 rush with the same ability at 5 mana would still be good enough to play. A 4/4 post nerf is just insane.
