Wonder how it works with double battlecry effects: will it hatch two dragons? Then
Spirit of the Shark + Chromatic Egg + Necrium Vial can be kinda sick.
My brain just exploded and then fell back into my skull...in slow motion.
Doing it with Necrium Blade would be easier. Necrium Blade, Spirit of the Shark and Chromatic Egg is all on the perfect curve too.
Disgusting
If it does work like this, then I could see it working in Deathrattle rogue. If not, then meh, there are other more consistent deathrattles with better body. It would help if this had dragon tag so you could active candle breath and other shenanigans where you actually care about dragons
It would work the same way Gral, the Shark works. Each battlecry stores an enchantment on the card, the deathrattle triggers the enchantments.
Meaning if you double the battlecry, it will generate 2 enchantments on the card, both of which are set to trigger when the deathrattle triggers. If you use Necrium Vial, it should trigger both enchantments twice, giving you 4 dragons.
It’s not really like graal at all, tbh. Graal eats 2 minions. This one discovers two minions, but the second one could overwrite the first. It’s much more like Myra rotspring but the Deathrattle “hatch” is kind of vague.
I love the theme - it brings to mind elements of the Inheritance Cycle. The secrecy, intentionality, egg look, and mountains are all evocative to a fan of the series. Now if only Galakrond was Galbatorix . . .
Any fellow Inheritance Cycle lover is a friend of mine, Ecthelion. And by the name, a Tolkien lover too, I'd wager? :)
needs to average at least an 8/8 each time to be even remotely playable (and in VERY specific decks even then)
not seeing it with current pool of cards
Opponent: "It's just gonna summon a big minion. Not the worst thing to deal with."
*summons Kalecgos
Mage: "Surprise Idiot!"
Interesting, but since you can't exploit it outside of playing it from your hand and triggering it on the battlefield, it's useless. I wish they had pushed the mana cost back a bit so people might have tried it out a bit.
Its cool but tbh If it costed 4 the chances of play dramatically increase. We'll have to see how this goes. I like the concept however a lot of good dragons are battlecries so fingers crossed its Ysera in there.
SILENCE!
This guy must be pro-choice
I honestly like it. Though it probably won't see play. It could make for a good combo with Conjurer's Calling.
The cool part of that card, It is an egg, which means, we will get a golden copy of it, some easter.
Edit Btw, with Anka, the Buried this might have a chance.
anka won't work, he doesn't have a deathrattle while it's in your hand.
Yes, it does. If Boodoo doll works this one will work too.
