Passable in standard. Pretty good in Wild since you still have the spellstones to work with and Rush really shines when you already have board presence.
Give it a solid 80% passing grade.
So here's the good and bad with this card... off hand it looks like a solid card for Zul'jin. If you draw two and play the twinspell copies I believe you get 4 5/5's with rush and possibly 2 versions of the card in your hand without twinspell (not sure how Twinspell works with Zul'jin).
However if you are playing Zul'jin you are very likely running Unleash the Hounds. Depending on the order they fire off you could wind up with a bunch of dogs instead of beefy Wyvern's.
This exp paladin and hunter only trash cards...(after the nerf that have had and the rotation of 70% of good cards)
Me no go face? Dis card no good.
This is gonna be a fair card for spell hunter. Not as good as too my side but more consistent. Also I'm sure there is going to be some other good disrupt hunter spells/secrets on the way that will allow for a card of this cost to still make it in a deck.
Spell hunter is losing all of it's cards, unless you're planning on playing spell hunter without any cards that actually benefit from having no minions in your deck.
But wild is a thing. It'll be worth playing around with. Not sure if it will make the final cut, maybe a 1 off.
Not only that: Zuljins Hero Power is also way worse then BR Guldans. So, not only is the immediate effect not as strong, but the longterm benefits are weaker, too.
On the other hand you will also be replaying other spells which might be of use like Deadly Shot and Secrets.
except Guldan is rotating out so comparing Zuljins hero power to one of the strongest cards in the game that is rotating out is a little eh. There is wild, but you still are comparing it to one of the strongest cards in the game.
This'll help out Zul'jin a bit when the all the other good hunter spells rotate, but I can't see Hunters making it to turn 10 without their busted tools from Kobolds and Catacombs
Savage Combatant’s voice line! Anyone remember that card? Oh wait, I’m the only one that Gonks in wild. Sorry to bother y’all.
"Unleash the beast!"
Real creative name
But Wyvern isnt that like a small dragon?
Can I down vote this
Pretty nice arena card - doubt it will see play in standard. Will be really good in wild spell hunter.
This card is amazing in arena. It doesn't seem too bad with Zul'jin either, as a lot of high impact cards are rotating. I guess the first cast from Zul'jin would also give you another copy of this in your hand which is nice. Control hunter is not a thing now, but who knows..
While not mana efficient for a hunter card, its a pretty scary control tool since it can kill most midrange minions with ease. Synergies with Zul'gin as well means it will be in most control hunter decks.
Ofc, it depends on how good control hunter is once its lost all its best tools. If a control hunter is viable, this will be good. If not, this will probably suck. But control hunters viability depends on card draw/generation, since hunters have very few innate means of drawing cards, so unless we see some hunter draw cards, control hunter will struggle to remain viable.
Yes, it is. It was confirmed on reddit page
Wyverns are a kind of dragon, so probably not.
