Everyone, Get In The Latest Card Design Competition!
Entries are open for this week's Card Design Competition! This week's theme is "Everyone, Get In Here!" where we're designing Blackrock Mountain cards featuring Dwarves.
Competition-Specific Restrictions:
- You must make a Blackrock Mountain card that features a Dark Iron Dwarf.
- As a reminder, your card cannot use keywords or mechanics which were added to the game after BRM.
- Existing examples include: Emperor Thaurissan, Lava Shock, Axe Flinger, Grim Patron, and Dark Iron Skulker.
For a full list of the rules, you'll need to enter, head on over to the submission thread. Don't forget, you can only submit one card into the competition and you must submit your card in the submission thread for it to be a valid submission - the news post comments don't work! It should also be noted we have a dedicated thread for you to discuss this week's entries, so if that's your cup of tea, head on over to the discussion thread.
Trials and Errors - Phase II Voting!
Phase II of our latest Class Creation Competition is coming to a close, with many great Basic sets submitted by competitors from Phase I. Head on over to the submission thread to check them out, and upvote the classes you think are the best! Approximately half the entries will make it through to Phase III, so if you really like what someone has submitted make sure to help them get through.
This is more an art competition for this one but I like it anyway.
GL everyone, some of the classes are rly interesting. Nice to see that there r still ideas to be explored :)
Have to say that I'm pretty impressed with the effort people have made for this, really good work all! Will be voting soon.
Hey Shadow, the link send you to Phase I not Phase II !
Vote turnout for the Big Comp has been pretty low so far, so any attempts to bolster it would be appreciated :) People have been working on their classes for several weeks now; it only takes a few minutes of your time to acknowledge that effort with a few upvotes.
I'm curious, have you seen a significative decrease of the daily visitors on the website? Because events are pretty low on hearthstone, nothing really new, so I guess this have an impact on the website audience ?
Bren Brode was always doing some QA or saying some banal things but it helped create some news on the website, since he is gone and the team is reduce I have the sensation than hearthstone is not providing a lot of news/content you may relay and its sad for the HS community. I don't know if you see where i'm going but... is there any reflexion of making hearthpwn a website for severals games instead of hearthstone only? I like this website but I don't really enjoy hearthstone anymore, i want to continue annoying you link <3 :'(
HearthPwn's traffic definitely takes a dip while we wallow in "down time" between expansions. Fresh card reveals bring the most attention, but not everyone sticks around during the off weeks. Plus school is back in session after Christmas break.
To answer your secondary question, I highly doubt HearthPwn will ever add another game to its portfolio.
