If you think card's that use digression to determine RNG outcomes are creative, than I guess it's creative because it's different. Kind of boring TBH.
Ok, the card concept is powerful enough to be considered legendary status in my book, but it's such a generic name like it's a normal minion. That really bugs me right now. Legendaries are supposed to be the named significant characters, even if those characters are just made up. You can't take a silly name like "fluffy potion drinker" and stick it on a legendary. It dilutes the very meaning of what a legendary card is: someone of note and fame. I consider myself generally open-minded about most aspects of this game, but I'm sorely disappointed about this lame card name.
Oh Thank Goodness. I was getting really concerned about this. The fantasy of the cards and game is my favorite part of playing. Thanks for letting me know. :)
I see everybody just copy pasted the druid idea, but if you dont have it on 6 mana, what then smartasses? (remember it's only a one of)
you don't need it on 6-mana, you just play it whenever you think they are about play a combo or UI. Also, mulligan is a thing.
Do we not include anti-weapon tech (which is usually a one of) ujst because we might not draw them in time?
you sabotage yourself if it's not on 6, not quite the upside of a antiweapon tech :)
This wans to be Loatheb, but it is not. Which is probably just as well. It is nice for people who hate ramp to be able to play a hate card against it, that still probably won't be that great against control decks. Loatheb just kills control decks, and there is very little playing around it. This you can at least play around a little bit as the ramp/control player by planning your turns with this in mind.
I could be wrong though, not too easy to evaluate a card like this. Depends a lot on the meta I suppose.
Funny. The only class I see this card targeting IS druid. Druid would be the only class that cares about having their mana set to 5, because they usually have 10 mana by the time any other class has 4 mana.
Wait does it give you 5 full crystals? because if you can play a 4-5 drop alongside it, then it is actually decent...
Cards like this is exactly why I quit Hearthstone. This is not fun. This is not interactive. This is just a one card fuck your opponent entirely. Sure you get dropped to five mana too but if you’re a Druid that is not a problem at all.
This is actually something that destroys ramp entirly and a good stopper in their plans, love to see them drop their weapon, play the ooze and drop this on turn 6.
You might want to look up the definition of interactive.
And this destroys ramp as they use to cards to ramp. This nullifies that or at the very least the usual multiple cards they used to ramp.
@ Dr_Scaphandre Agreed.
this is a set back against combo decks, what is your problem. this literally adds interactivity against the least interactive archetype.
it allows you to stall for time to beat a combo deck before they just blow you out with a combo you have no possibility of stopping.
Do you think you stay forever at 5 mana?
Also, for someone who quit the game you seem to be following it quite a lot
I hope there's a comma missing between Fluffy and Potion Drinker.
It's a mistranslation. for whatever reason, all the mistranslations in this set so far have the word "fluffy" in them
No, it's rather that the cards they don't know the exact translation of gets the "fluffy" + "whatever is in the pic" treatment until they they do know.
It's Mojomaster Zihi
OH can u read korean??
Counter to druids now?
