This is the best combo I have seen yet
Everyone is talking about how to combo mecha'thun but (assuming we get more anti-combo tech besides warlock demon swap) this is a great card for a control deck to grind against another control deck.
Does anyone remember warlock vs warlock during KaC with n'zoth and 20 voidlords? How many games came down to resource attrition and who drew too many cards or who plays n'zoth last. When you see you're losing the resource game, mecha'thun can capitalize in the end.
After destroying all your stuff for 20 turns, how many silences will your opponent have left? They better have some taunts or 10 dmg face adds up quick.
How does this work with reincarnate?
It would work as the DR would trigger before he was resurrected.
How does this work whit Deathwing.?Because if I'm not mistaken battle crystal trigger before the minion enter the battlefield.
Battlecries trigger after the minion is on the field and it won't work with deathwing
actually battlecries do trigger before minion enters the battlefield, but I believe the deathrattle triggers after the battle cry is done, and the last step in a battlecry is summoning the minion properly. This might have changed recently because they wanted to make things make more sense, but I did not see it in any patch notes. Whatever is the case I believe Yurushi is right that deathwing won't work. But deathwing is also much slower than some of the ideas I have in mind for activating this.
if only it was battlecry and not deathrattle without the battlefield part.
Yeah this and Shudderwock is the exact same thing. This has to be good if Shudderwock is good. No difference at all
Wow, great card. not. Pretty easy to pull this combo.
Well, depending on the class, it determines how difficult it is. Rogue, with its legendary spell, has ease pulling off the combo. With others, not so much.
rogue has a bigger problem, killing the damn thing. I am more optimistic about druid doing it with all its draw, and then innervate naturalize to kill it. (although it would not be the top druid deck or even close) or priest using resurrects at the end and pyro northshire combo to draw through your deck and you kill the thing with a death, or you use twilights call as the resurrect and ping it in one of many ways.
oh the judges!!
That's how a person from different nation is defending English or British grammar.
An interesting idea.
However, there will likely be more losses with people trying to make this card work than people losing to this card being played against them.
it's not "your", it's "you're"
QUICK TAKE A PICTURE - IT'S THE CREATION OF A NEW MEME
I hate this so, so much. I will lose, at most, 1 game ever to this card, and I will be furious when it happens.
Don’t worry, you’ll definitely lose to it once against a rogue. Because of its legendary spell.
The legendary spell is fine and and all, but your hand needs to be empty as well, and while rogue can do it, how do they do it and have a deck that can survive any length of time. Basically rogue has a lot of dilemmas to solve to make this work, if rogue could activate the deathrattle and not have to kill the thing, then that would be enough, but as it stands rogue needs to hold all it's useful removal to kill the thing the turn you play it. rogue also can't cheat it out in a way that works because kobold illusionist does not remove the card from hand. Rogue certainly has the draw part covered but the combo seems difficult to actually pull offbecause rogue has some of the worst removal cost wise.
qThis is why this is my favorite card:
#1 It’s Mecha c’thun, and it lives up to its name, big minion big effect
#2 It’s not good, it’s fun, damn fun. Creates a whole different deck that inspires strategy for the late game, and can be in any class which leads to a sort of challenge
#3 It’s Mech fucking C’thun!!!
Question: why are people hatng so much on this card, yes, it’s not good, but it’s suppper cool!?
