<-- rerolled a normal quest and got an event quest too.
quick guide how to arena during this event:
1) take Chromie
2) win 12-0.
I think I will do the free arena run, watch the clownfiesta and then stay away from the arena until the event is over
I rerolled my normal quest and got a normal quest instead of an event quest. Feelsbadman
Yeh, I met a priest that redrew his hand of 5-6 cards 4 turns in a row and kept getting "when you draw this" bullshit...
Pretty sure getting screwed over by ridiculous OP cards is the point of the event! lol
This is so annoying.. getting screwed over left and right by redicilous things..
I loooove those quests! Good way to save some gold for the next expansion
I hereby propose keeping these quest types as standard, replacing normal quests forever.
:P
See, I know you're joking, but it would actually be stellar. The F2P people would get dust at a more respectable rate. And those of us who do spend on the game would still get fill-in dust for any epics/legendaries we didn't pack. Of course, it'd also constitute massive sales loss for Blizzard, so it'll never happen. But 'tis nice to dream.
Yeah I'm one of those f2p people so I know how valuable dust is :)
But you are of course right that this is something they would not do as the ongoing dust accumulation would reduce pack sales.
Would be nice though :)
Assuming the 8 quests are evenly weighted to appear... that means each day we have an expected value of 77.5 dust, which over the course of the event is more than 1600 dust if each daily is completed.
The strategy to min-max dust and gold, will be to re-roll the 60g/60dust quests...
Ideally the best case circumstance is to carry over 2 quests of 60g/60 dust each day. Upon receiving the fresh daily, 4/6 will be 80 or 100g/d.. since carrying over 2 quests reduces the odds on re-rolling quests to get 60g/60d.
Any other thoughts? I am glad to see Blizzard is so generous with this event. Doing dailies for three weeks will easily reward a minimum of 16 packs and a legendary of your choice. Pretty solid.
Anybody else experiencing trouble completing quests that are not the new Tavern type?
I had the 100g quest for play 50 Murlocs with 37 on the count. First game I played I got the count to 43 no problem (and also completed my Tavern Draw 15 cards, and got 1 count on my Tavern Play 3 Dragons, no problem). However, the second game I played I spammed at least 12 Murlocs, completed the game (won) but it did not complete the Murloc quest, or even index the count (it stayed at 43).
Weird that this would happen in consecutive games, I wonder if this is some sort of bug with the Event? Kind of ticked me off, because I hate the Murloc quest, but 100g is yummy so I don't want to reroll. Just wanted to complete the stupid thing.
This happen to anyone else yet?
These new quests are great, gief me teh dust!
Too much rng :s
Huh.... I knew this would happen again. I completed all but 1 quest just to see if they'd fill up my quest log... yup... they did. Rerolled the old quest into a new one as well :)
New Mage cards are beyond broken imo
daily quests r lit
First arena run this event with shaman -> 12-1
Got a ridiculous draft, beating the final boss never felt so easy. :P
