the problem is not everybody lives in LA or NYC, most of us needs 2 hours drive to get to one location, if that location was holding an event which already got the code from blizzard.
I don't want to have every cosmetic in the game, but everybody should have the option to get them if they want, and that option shouldn't consist in wasting half day or more going to another city.
Is the same shit that happened with the Tyrande one, artificial exclusivity to piss off people, it cost nothing, NOTHING, to them to give this things in a reasonable way that can be archived by all the people that wants to have the stuff.
Nobody complained about the Arthas and Maiev skins... or Morgl... or Liadrin... if they can give those skins in reasonables ways there's no excuse with the shitshows that they make with the others.
Uh, so after waiting so long for a new warlock hero to match Gul'dan... what we get is an OC. And she doesn't even looks like a warlock at all. You know, at least Morgl does looks like a shaman in some way. Maybe is because I don't like gnomes, but whatever.
I was expecting an actual cool warlock, like Archimonde, Kil'jaeden, Ner'zhul or even Meryl Felstorm (although I think he is considered a mage in Legion, he was originally a warlock), yet I am left disapointed.
Also the method of obtaining her is... kinda lame. Most people will have trouble going to a fireside, probably were I live too. Anyways, if you can, congrats, I guess.
Well, this hero looks lame to be honest, Gul'dan is way cooler. Still gonna get him on the 21st
1. Shit way to acquire the hero
2. Shit hero, i was hoping we would get Kil'Jaeden (warlock hero) for blizzcon virtual to commemorate the end of Legion
another pointless hero for a pointless game
Then you’re in the wrong forum, sorry
all games are "pointless" Unless they've been inspired by sports. Then you score points!
And moneys, loads of them. Hurrah eatsports!
I would love to have this Hero! the closest fireside gathering is 100 miles away! this seams like a Reasonable price to pay! don't mind me as I but $75 worth of gas and a 2 hour drive to arrive at some strangers event, awesome.
The level of entitlement is off the charts, how come we get all the beggars ? How right, shits work on android.
Someone please make a gathering in Vancouver! Driving 400km to get this is kind of nuts...
So the closest "official" fireside gathering is over 100 miles from me, but I have a better idea.
1) Recruit two friends with smartphones
2) Make my own event in the middle of a nice park (with good cellphone service)
2b) If you're scared of other people showing up, set it up for the next day so nobody would know about it and you don't have to interact with strangers
3) Do one round of Fireside Brawl
4) ???
5) Never speak of this horrible event again, quietly leave and go home with new hero
It doesn't seem like Blizzard cares if I'm the owner of a game shop or a hobo according to their sign-up page. If this crazy plan works I'd encourage everyone else to try it. Step 1 seems the most difficult.
My understanding is that Blizz is ahead of you ... you would first have to have the Gathering, then go back and register it as a "Tavern" to enable subsequent Gatherings there to award the hero:
