Quote from BlizzardSpring is in the air, and Hearthstone players’ thoughts now turn to the Hearthstone Championship Tour’s Spring Playoffs! The Spring Playoff competition for Europe, the Americas, and Asia-Pacific will take place across three consecutive weekends in May and June. Players will compete from their local taverns for a share of the $25,000 USD prize pools, as well as a spot in the upcoming Spring Championship.
Read on for where the Spring Playoff taverns are located, when the broadcasts will be, which of your favorite casters will be calling all the action, and what you can unlock in the game for attending live!
Europe looks dominant after ShtanUdachi’s incredible victory at the Winter Championship, and their best players — including the likes of Sjow, 2015 world champion Ostkaka, and Thijs — will fight for the chance to take home the Spring trophy as well. Join us May 20 and 21 to see who makes it through!
The Americas Spring Playoffs take place May 27 and 28, and there plenty of familiar faces will be competing. A quick look at the standings shows the ever-present Amnesiasc placing well, with recent DreamHack Austin winner shoop not far behind him. In all three Playoffs, the eight best players from the Spring Tavern Hero Tournaments will join their region's top 64 players to compete for one of four spots in the Spring Championship.
Asia-Pacific rounds out three weeks of Spring Playoffs action, and it’s a veritable who’s who of Hearthstone pros from Korea, Japan, and more. The renowned tom60229 leads the pack by a substantial margin, trailed by the likes of b787 and Pinpingho. Their chase for the Spring Championship will close out our back-to-back-to-back Playoff weekends on June 3 and 4.
All of the Spring Playoffs will be played using the updated Spring ruleset.

Yet another thing that you can't get it without paying... Feelsbadman
Hopefully Th3Rat will be at Buffalo Wild Wings so I can shake his hand with bbq sauce on my fingers and face.
That picture really illustrates how male dominated pro-Hearthstone has been. I hope that changes soon.
A more diverse crowd. More females. It'd be nice to see a picture of champions that isn't the a bunch of dudes.
I am sure there are no girls because there are no girls wanting to be pro's. If they did want to be pro then they would become pro and you would see them on the stage.
Girls don't want to be pro?
Gross dude. Think about that statement.
You're making an assumption for an entire gender. You don't think that's part of the problem?
that's blatantly false. A quick Google search can lay waste to those figures.
How 'I want diverse crowd' is to stop attitudes like that from spreading
I skimmed through and saw Hearthstone-pack and got excited.

Say i want to attend the montreal venue, how does this work ? I just show up ??
I had the very same question, so I went looking, and apparently, it seems like an open-entry tournament, yes :
http://us.battle.net/hearthstone/en/fireside-gatherings/33402 - Guess I'll see you on the 27th, fellow Heathpwner-Montréalais ^^
Does anyone have access to the taverns in Asia Pacific? Living in Hong Kong, i want to go and get the Power Core card back, but have no idea where to go.
My inner collector tells me that I NEED this Power Core card back
*Heavy Breathing Intensifies*
You got Golden Celebration? How? Did you have to place high in an event? was it hard, or lucky?
Thanks for the clarification @Hearthole, my inner collector is now only mildly jealous, but still, the desire to own one is intensifying ..
Update : Today I participated to my very first HS Tournament -- nearly 6 hours worth of HearthStone. I didn't perform that well, nor that poorly, but by the end of the day, I wasn't as vigilant due to tiredness and may have missplayed at that point ... Anyway around, I should be receiving (eventually) my card back, Power Core, for attending the event - yay - also won a Murloc stuffy, on which I'm mixfeeling ..!
