This doesn't come as a huge surprise since Blizzard loves using BlizzCon as an expansion announcement platform, but it is nice to see confirmation! The announcement is on Friday, November 4th, at 12:30 PM PDT. With only three weeks to go, what are you hoping for?

Death Knight under the Christmas Tree :D
I seem to be the only one that noticed and cares that blizzard wants the spell spamming gates open. Before standard we had Loatheb, Trade Prince Gallywix, stonesplinter trogg, burly rockjaw trogg, Arcane Nullifier, spectral knight, and troggzor the earthinator to slow or discourage spell spamming and now they are gone. I loved running a deck that punished heavy spell casters. Now they have yogg and arcane giant to encourage it more. Love the game but give me something punish the people that don't want to have minions in there decks.
What bothers me is that priest will get insanely broken cards instead of good cards because people overreacted about priest being too weak. Hearthstone team DOES listen to HS community but unfortunately that's exactly the reason why all 9 classes can never be balanced.
That's what happens when your favorite class(es) keep being suppressed overwhelmingly by other dominating class(es). This will always happen because there is no top class(es) without bottom bad class(es). Therefore, the cycle of broken cards being introduced to bad class(es) will keep going around.
yeah, thats why priest got so OP cards in karazhan :D Purify
I mostly wonder why the devs won't change how the rotation works. There should be a rotation of cards to Wild one expansion/adventure at a time instead of everything being rotated out at the first calendar expansion release of the new year.
This would keep the meta fresh and changing significantly with each new content release because an old set is also getting rotated out when the new cards come in. I think this would be preferable because then the expansions released late in the year would see an equal amount of time in Standard (a full two years for every individual expansion assuming release dates match up).
I realize many people think LoE is a cancer adventure, but with the amended rotations LoE for example would remain in Standard until the last expansion release of 2017 instead of rotating with everything (Blackrock/Grand Tournament) in ~April of 2017. Having anything rotate short of two years is sort of insulting to Blizzard's own work.
So yeah, essentially hoping for a change to how the rotations work because currently Standard gets stagnant way too quickly.
All expansions released in the same calendar year would still remain in standard together for quite awhile.... Each release is technically supposed to stay in standard for two years (but that currently is only true for the first expansion of the year). Expansions in the same calendar year would still share Standard for nearly two years (there would always be six active expansions [4 sets and 2 adventures] if they keep the same release format). I don't understand your point; the yearly themes would still very much be relevant.
Valid point; however, they could easily plan for this going forward. They could easily amend all sorts of things, not limited but including to moving certain cards to the Classic set. The main point is that Standard needs a change. When a rotation occurs, Standard will always feel barren until more sets are added.
This is probably just lame and simple but I'd kinda like to see more cross-tribe interactions. Not just cards like the Curator that list a bunch of tribes, but maybe introduce new ones or introduce dual-tribes like Murloc-Pirate or Dragon-Demon or something like that where it has effects that benefit both types and/or count as both types so you could run it in one deck or the other or a mesh of the two.
make priest viable plz so i can play it competitively
What do i want? I want blizzard to up the complexity of the game even slightly. Stop treating your players like dumbasses. People can handle way more complex cards than what we have. I want one card that has an interesting complex effect that isn't RNG BS.
Hearthstone was never meant to be a complex game. If you want that, go play MtG
This guy Knows whats up
The Black Temple/Hyjal/Ulduar/Icecrown Citadel/Zul'aman
New mechanisms:
HOT (healing over time)
DOT (damage over time)
More Curses (for warlock, like Curse of Weakness, Curse of Elements)
ShuffleHand (shuffle all cards in hand and replace them with randoms from your deck)
RandomSwap (swap a card from your hand with a random card from opponent hand)
Mal'Ganis similar effects (a minion that can protect your hero)
DoubleSwords & Combos (specially for rogue)
Hero HP (increased or spells that can increase the max HP of hero in game)
Trolls (new cards)
EmbraceTheShadow (more shadow-related cards for both priest & warlock, spells that will work only in shadow-form, Illidan-form)
Chat & friends-finder (chat & the ability to look for friends that has the same rank as you + global world chat)
Tournaments (like in 8ball game)
More user-settings (like enable/disable faster gameplay = no screen-effects for cards and spells in game)
Raids & RegionRaids (dungeon finder, adventure with friends, RegionRaids=top players in X-region will play against tops from Y-region)
New heroes + abilities (Alliance + Horde for each class, example Gnome Warlock with ability of Expansive Mind)
"More user-settings (like enable/disable faster gameplay = no screen-effects for cards and spells in game)"
Hearthstone is a game who is beautiful to make new players find fun to play, if you implement a option to "disable beauty", this will be standard in streams and for pro players (probably because this will remove distractions and will improve FPS), so the "turn off effects" will be the new standard... And these fancy and pretty animations are hard to create, how you dare to turn off them? (talking with Blizz designer voice)
The rest of the list is good, otherwise. :D
DOT will be very good i think :)
I Hope HearthStone brings:
Next Expansion:
1- New tribes as Ogre, Troll, Undead, Orc, Elf . 2 - More of the same card mechanics and new card mechanics - 3 - Cards from tavern and adventures wich only the NPC uses. 4 - More interaction with Heropower or upgrade on some hero powers, by using justicar again and making some classes with better Justicar upgraded hero powers. 5 - Change cards from some sets to classic set.
6 - CGI Animation to explain some cards coming from other sets or even Npc cards. 7 - CGI animations showing interactions of cards, like for an example : ( Jayna freezes all a lot of murlocs on a field and doomsayer appear screaming "The end is coming and smiling in a devilish way" than everything burns and the screen is brief taken by fire and it ends. ) This CGI animations could be shown as marketing or entartainment on breaks on championships.
7 - More classes skins. Make skins possible to buy with gold. 8 - Arena ranked system maybe, im not sure about that one.
Next Year or 2018 or 2019 i hope : New classes, like Undead and Monk or even more, who knows!? And a special release of "Only funny and fun cards" 1 being released every day during a period of 1 year. Something new to bring tons of cards to Hearthstone that blizz would like to put in the game but couldnt so soon.
Thats what i hope, maybe sounds crazy, but im crazy for this game, hahaha i like it a lot and wish i could see all that coming next. :D
What I would like is some cards from League of Explorer (basically Reno, and Elise) moved into the classic set.
And for the future expension, somme better card for Priest and other weak classes in order to have a more balanced meta.
But there was no announcement of announcement of announcement, what is happening?
Right now my main concern is I want lots more Pirate cards. Maybe they could take the Auto-Attack keyword from the chess fight and make it a real keyword in constructed.
