Battleground Duos Information
In the Patch Notes for Patch 29.0 Blizzard already wrote plainly "Stay tuned for news about our next major Battlegrounds update in the coming weeks... some might say it’s double the fun! " a clear hint at Duos mode coming soon. And that Soon™ appears to be this week with today's teaser.

BTW I have some question, because I don't understand it & I hope somebody will enlighten me:
So I'm about Chaotic Tendril - when you will play this card enough times, or you will use some "boosters", from some point every Chaotic Tendril will cast one of two spells: Table Flip or Sunset Volley.
And I'm talking about Standard mode.
BUT - that Chaotic Tendril is capable of casting legendary spells of lower costs - anyone who played with, or faced enemy with deck focused on Chaotic Tendril probably saw a lot The Scourge or Wheel of DEATH!!! played...
If that's the case, then why at 10 cost spells Chaotic Tendril doesn't have higher "roulette potential" let's say, and so why it doesn't have a chance to cast The Galactic Projection Orb or Climactic Necrotic Explosion ? 🫤

I keep seeing dual Battlegrounds being announced as if it's a big deal, when it's of zero interest to me. Now, I know we all play differently but am I the only one thinking this?
I'm not pooping on the mode and if it's for you, then that's great. I'm just feeling a little baffled by the whole thing. It's sort of like hearin g Ed Sheeran's music... "Is this what people like? But... why?"

I think a lot of people have other people in their friends list, whether that's from other blizzard games or from completing quests with them or whatever. And this is just a way for you to actually play with your friends in HS and it not be versus.
I think that's cool and I have 1 friend I want to try this with cause we both love the shenanigans of Battlegrounds and it seems like a hilarious way to spend a couple of hours.
Ultimately I think this new mode will work or fail more based on how well it is implemented than lack of people wanting to try and play it.

Also it's practically impossible to balance since it's multiple times more complex and they can barely balance Standard.
