At least one person will be playing Demon Hunter with a weapon and buffed attack, and then they will discover and play this minion.
The Pit Lord powercreep. What time to be alive.
Do you remember the times when a card didn't had to say "to YOUR hero" cause the devs just assumed that you have the ability of simple text understanding. That was life before TikTok.
I don't really see this card, there is like 14 cards like this in Warlock and they barely saw play. Dosn't really has a place en the Big Demon Archetype that they are trying to push. But I guess that from all the cards like this, except for Flame Imp, and probably Vulgar Homunculus, this is the best one. So if you are playing a self-damage deck, or a pretty explosive Aggro (that dosn't involves Discard that is the superior version of Aggro) a 3-Drop with +2/+2 for only 5 Health could be worth it. Is like Playing Spider Tank + Blood Treant #Value
I don't think that makes the cut in Questline. Maybe, and is a big Maybe, you could try to Recruit it from your deck, but dosn't feels that Worth. But turn 2 - Nerubian Egg, Turn 3 - Sacrificial Summoner >into this. Puts stats on the board at the very least.
You mean the times when Hellfire had to specify that it damages ALL characters? And that was from that time when the developers were not sure whether additional deckslots would confuse players, right?
To be fair, I have been on this website long enough and saw more than enough comment sections regarding this game that I cannot blame them for being doubtful and maybe a bit too cautious about the intelligence of their playerbase.
I mean, just recently, I saw some guy ranting about dem kids with their tiktoks and turning this into some pointless culture debate, all because one word in a card text was capitalized.
You can't be cautious enough these days, is what I'm saying.
This one is slightly different in that it attacks instead of dealing damage.
So if you buff this one in your hand it will deal more damage. Wasn't there a card that forced your opponent to play a minion from their hand (it was a spell, right)? But if you could get this buffed and swapped into your opponents hand and then force them to play it, ...
It seems like a highly complex way to use this as burst. Like...First you are talking about Unseen Saboteur, that only works with spells, and even if works with minions, like Dirty Rat, id dosn't triggers the Battlecry cause is summoned and not played. And you have to first buff this, play it, put Treachery in it, return it to your opponents hand with specifically Canary (that is a card that you only can randomly get) and then is going to lost the handbuffs when is bounced back, cause dosn't keeps enchantments.
So at the moment at least is impossible and very counterproductive. But If you really want to do that, you can just complete The Demon Seed, or just play this with Void Virtuoso in play and just hope that is going to connect 5 damage next turn, which is pretty probable. I don't think that Attacking instead of deal the damage really does anything for you in Warlock. In Warrior you at least could trigger Rokara, I don't know. But In Warlock looks like a Downside over Pit Lord in almost any scenario, cause if you buff it in hand you just take even more damage.
If you want to deal a Mark OTK with The Questline and give this +30/+30 in your hand, that's on you. But that's just a meme.
Yeah, I know that it wouldn't be anything more than a meme and I only vaguely remembered Saboteur as forcing your opponent to actually play something not just summon, but yeah that was spell only.
Is that 1 mana "your hero is immune" still in standard?
If you mean Void Virtuoso, then yes, it was from Festival of Legends and will be in Standard for the whole upcoming year still.
Yes, Also the Felstring Harp.
Pit Lord ? Is that you?
Exactly... What a boring card. Could have changed something.... Having Elusive or 1/8 taunt.
The difference is, if you make it stronger, it will also have bigger drawback.
I think it's enough to justify being a new card.
also costs 1 less than pit lord :P
