People are sleeping on this with the new Aura. Discount it to 5, play this on 4 and you get 4 rounds of 6 mana minions...
Calling it now, this card will be stupid good and meta.
A bit worse turn 4, for multiple turns of value should be a positive tradeoff.
Pretty great as long as auras are good enough.
I already hate Deputization and Crusader Aura with such passion, if this card is meta I'm gonna mald
Where are the paladin legendaries?
We already saw Toy Captain Tarim
The other doesn't seem to have been revealed yet.
NVM - just wasn't posted here yet.
Pipsi Painthoof. 7 mana 7/4
Deathrattle Summona random divine shield, rusk, and taunt minion from your deck.
Pipsi Painthoof
the problem with auras is they are all going in different directions, the second we get one that can link two or more of them together, this card is viable.
Will it be compatible with the Dun Baldar Bridge? Although it does not have the word aura, the objectives of the Fractured in Alterac Valley expansion have the same function. I hope they break the rule of only having one active aura and you can have more auras accumulated, because waiting several turns to play another one feels very slow.
As you said, it's not an aura. So I'm going to say no, it doesn't work on that.
I think that even if mechanically they are the same. Auras are not canonically a semi-card type, like Quests or Sigils.
But I mean, we can't be sure until they say it. We are talking about the same people that made Kingpin Pud resurrect Boulderfist Ogre even if is not an Ogre-gang (just cause they found it funny) or that allows Imp King Rafaam to resurrect Opera Soloist (just cause her race is called Imp Mother but you don't have way in game to know that)
But at the same time Splintergraft is not concidered a Treant, when she is refered as "a Cursed Treant" in the lore. So you actually never know. I hope that works. Simply cause is easier to remember. "Oh the cards that last several Turns are called Auras", has more sence than being called Objetives, cause I mean, most of them are not Objetives, they are like random things.
I believe the Ogre thing was added later, due to fan request on Twitter and no balance concerns. So I don't think that's something to mark consistency off of. Keywords like echo do not do the same thing with keywords like repeatable this turn. I highly doubt they work together.
But still, I don't mind that Pud can do that, cause is not even good. But you are kinda breaking the rules of your own game just by a meme. At least have a little of consistency and made Pud able to resurrect all your Ogres.
An Echo is different, cause its a Keyword. Repeatable this Turn is just Nostalgic Echo, cause they wanted to use the Mechanic, but they don't like for some reason reuse old Keywords (even if is a digital game and you can know what the Keyword does by just hold the card) so they are not going to add the extra line of text of (can't cost less than 1) cause that is implied on the Keyword.
But Auras and Objectives are not a Keyword, they are just...I don't know, words. And knowing that an Imp dosn't has to be called Imp to be an Imp, there are reasons to think that an Aura dosn't have to be called Aura to be an Aura.
Yeah good try but seems boring
Aura archetype could be very interesting. Nice to see them trying something new.
