I may be wrong, but judging from the entire expansion and the core set, I have a feeling this card had a lifesteal at some point in the development, but at the last minute Team 5 decided they didn't want Control Warlock in standard.

Seems weak considering you have to play it when you have no board. It's 3 AoE damage on a stick, but is this stick really worth it? On turn 5, enemy minions will likely have more than 3 health anyway, and it has no taunt, no rush, no lifesteal... or anything really. It's like a much worse Entitled Customer.

A new card to fill warlock's '5-6 mana board clear' slot ( Felfire Potion comes to mind.. )
A little awkward since the 6 health body means it has a chance of sticking around, if you need to play two back to back.

Cool flavor though, the soloist needs to be by herself in order to play.

Playing two of them back to back does nothing additional as you explained at your last sentence.
