Needs some very specific secret synergy to see play, something along the lines of Contract Conjurer.
So I'm sure this was immediately apparent to anyone that actually plays the game (which is why Blizzard probably hasn't thought of it), but how would this work with the numerous secrets that don't go off until the start of your turn?
The expected interaction would be that they trigger at the start of your turn, as they would normally.
Except for the fact that it literally says they will be destroyed at the start of your turn...?
So which "start of your turn" comes first?
There can be multiple effects in play that trigger at the start of your turn. They don't happen all at once, but in a certain order. It's possible to test this interaction with Disco at the End of Time, which uses the same mechanic. But then again, this is Blizzard spaghetti code, so we can't know for sure until we see some gameplay footage with the new card. I assume the secrets will trigger before he destroys them; otherwise, this card would have a relatively high chance of doing exactly nothing, making it too inconsistent to actually use (especially if you consider that some of really game changing secrets trigger at the start of your turn, like Rigged Faire Game).
I probably can add this to a shudder pool of cast. Not that good but i guess now every class has an ok way to put em in a play. Idk if the infiltrator is rotating or not
Unfortunately most of these types of cards won’t see much play, when the power level of other cards already are so absurdly high. You can’t imagine to take risks when Paladin wins if you leave 1 minion on the board by turn 5.
I wish that the whole standard format would be replaced with conditional cards such as these. Great creativity and allows mindgames with back and forth gameplay, as opposed to play this and win cards (Odyn, Siff etc).
It is kinda annoying, but...at the moment I don't really see why you...would play a card like this in a deck.
I mean, beside if a card is strong or not, you usually want that your cards have some kind of coherency with your deck. And this feels like dosn't really does anything other than sometimes mess with the turn of your opponent. But you are paying 3-Mana for a 2/2 that sometimes does something. Maybe there is a deck or archetype that really cares about casting Secrets or something, but looks like quite an irrelevant card to run. Not necesary a bad card. More like a card like Relentless Worg, that is a solid card in the vacum, but you usually have 30 better cards to put in your deck before that.
Just a reminder to click on the card. You can see gameplay videos, developer comments, related cards, cosmetic cards, card pool (for example for this one you can see all the available secrets) and much more! We are aware of the popcard closing button not working (and some other bugs), in the meantime you can press ESC or refresh the window. We're still gathering feedback, because we made some huge changes in this popcard version since its introduction in the TITANS expansion.🤗
Popcard is a very cool feature. The only strange thing is that Blizzard didn't indicate in any way that the card has a pool of secrets, although the information about what the card does and doesn't should be important in a card game. In theory. For example, constant Brann + this card in wild would be hilarious. Always wanted to play Secret Warrior.
I read at first "at the end of your turn". I was like... damn use HAVING secrets in play THAT turn or lose em? Interesting.
Let's go. Random Jank Shudderwock secrets. I'm all for it
I want a wild exclusive keyword: „Can‘t be replayed (by shudderwock/any magecard…) and this card should be one of them. And many, many others. Or at least Blizz should give more cards „once per game“.
Objection is rotating, so at least there's that.
Oh right.
Thank God, I don't want to see that secret even on other classes.
great, more cards for wild secret mage.
meh. Too many variants, maybe if it were mage secrets only.
An example of a card that will see no play in Constructed but at the same time will be a pain to play against in Arena.
Seems like a type of card I'd never want to go against.
The average secrets don't seem too bad, unless you seriously low roll and something like Counter Spell+Objection can win you the game.
