I get Naga Giant gets you more armor but Thirsty Drifter is already a free big minion that you can fetch, then dupe, for priest with these cards. I think that’s the combo that will see play, along with the Clergy draw engine
Usually Priest gets terrible cards. But, I guess if they are dual class cards then Priest gets to have decent toys as well.
Maybe all cards should be dual class.
Some pretty heavy DRUID cards we got there
dude wtf...those druid cards are fucking nuts...holy shit...they make me uncomfortable
Just a note that Glowstone Gyreworm can go face. I'm 100% putting that into Shadow Priest at least (if I ever play that deck, not my favorite TBH). It's a great way to get extra burst, contend with other aggressive decks while keeping you alive and enables Ignis, the Eternal Flame as a finisher for that deck, which previously didn't work well since Creation Protocol is a Holy spell.
At this point Blizzard might aswell add a card that says Start of Game: Copy your opponent deck twice and replace your own than draw three cards. And make it a one card deck no need for 30 cards when one does the same thing. :D
Jokes aside the only card I'm liking here is Shattered Reflections its so amazingly strong, 5 mana and you can get for example 3 copies of a powerful minion one already on the board it has a direct effect since its basiclly a 5 mana play a pretty strong minion and have two extra in the bag.
The other two cards I just don't feel, I'm not feeling an elemental deck for Priest and I would rather play Dredge than the other card and for Priest I feel like Priest already got better cards that does the same.
Gyreworm is okay but I can't think of any deck I would want to run it in. Maybe in a Reno Priest centered around Brann instead of Elise.
Shattered Reflection is interesting. The Naga Giant combo has been pointed out, which works in both classes, and there is also the Druid Titan, Automatons, Fye, etc. However unless you can provide targets of your own then I don't think this will make the cut, most opponents will not have minions worth copying, even though it is absolutely insane in really grindy matchups.
Pendant of Earth is just nuts. Druid will absolutely run it, and there is a chance Priest might as well, though I think it is considerably worse for Priest since you usually want to keep your highest cost minions in the deck for Creation Protocol and/or Elise.
I think these cards will shine more in druid that priest but only because I think druid has the more viable decks in this meta.
These cards might help priest get to the end game and certainly add more value (if that was something priest lacked), but they don't give priest a win condition and don't massively help against OTK (sure you can stack up to 20 armour if you're lucky, but I don't think that will do enough).
I'm not saying that they are bad cards, but I just don't think they will matter in what has become a very tempo/OTK oriented game.
I do think Glowstone Gyreworm will really shut down aggro though. Potential to remove a minion, heal a bunch and leave a 4/4 which heals a bunch more.
The priest mirror is also going to be very time consuming....
Numerous folks thinking Reverberations was a pretty broken card, and then along comes Shattered Reflections. WTFFF.
True - but reverberations also basically kills the enemy minion. This doesn't (and also costs more mana)
Right right, but YOUR copy also doesn't immediately die the next turn. You could Reverb a Titan, ping it, use a charge of the guy you copied, and the paper tiger would crumple the next turn. Either way, this is a grossly strong card that opens lots of options for heavy control oriented decks.
Who are you kidding - Titans always die the next turn! :)
Yeah add a minion copy spell to a class that rushes mana pool and got multiple mana cheat cards.
Let's see where it goes at this point. Druid healing to full and clearing the board with 5 Fye, the Setting Sun sounds hilarious.
These are all broken.
Glowstone will be a 2-of in control priest until rotation. The amount of stabilization it offers is absolutely wild.
Pendant is broken beyond measure in Druid. Gives Highlander more consistency which is the best type of card in those decks, plus longevity.
Shattered though. I had to read shattered many times because it couldn’t be that op, but it is. This is the most pushed faceless we’ve ever seen. This gives you THREE titans (or whatever else), one of which can be used immediately,
Oh, and were you already struggling with Druid stabilizing? How about, summon fey for 0, then reflect it, effectively spawning two more feys. Aggro is officially dead to this card+Fey. For 5 mana, you get 12/36 in rush, lifesteal, and taunt.
What an absurdly broken card.
Great, more Rheastrasza's...
And lose 3 slot on table for nests?
yes
both, Pentand of Earth & Shattered Reflections are super strong cards for Priest and Druid
so, they just mockingly killed Sathrovarr and didn't even apologize ?
pendant of earth is so warriorish card. I get it, druids can get armor too, but warrior is a better fit with flavour and mechanic :/
