Trash.
Not sure about this one. On the one hand, Unholy has the largest surplus of corpses to "spend", but it also needs them the most. Is 8 corpses really worth a random 8-drop? On average, I bet it isn't, but maybe I'm wrong.
Also known as Harmville
Is this really better than Corpse Bride?
On turn 3 is going to be on average a random 3-drop that cost you 3 Corpses, and lets say that you play this on turn 5 and you rather spend your Corpses on this that on your other cards, and you summon Anub'Rekhan for a total of 7/7 in stats. With Bride you can summon a 4/4 + 8/8 for a total 12/12 in stats.
You can Highroll and summon The Primus or you can lowroll and summon Freya, Keeper of Nature I kinda rather spend 2 extra Mana and guarantee a good Statline with +4/+4.
And I'm not even saying that Corpse Bride is a good card, and I don't think this card is umplayable either, but it feels a lot more clunky that how it could.
um akchually you can't summon Primus as Titans are banned from random generation
I don't fully get why, Arcaneboy.
But if that's the case, I guess the Highroll in standard is... Tirion Fordring? Is Tirion in standard? I guess Sesselie of the Fae Court or Kologarn, but most of them are Battlecry minions.
And the Pool is way better in Standard that in Wild, I can tell you that.
If it was Discover, I'd be all giggly. As it is, it's just okay. Maybe "fine" at a push.
In most cases, it's just raw stats for spending a lot of corpses. On turn 3 you probably don't have that many corpses, unless you spend 2 turns on low to no board presence and later it's too slow.
Not when every minion is a situational Battlecry, no.
I could actually see this being the corpse sink card.
The closes comparison was the 5 mana 4/4 that summoned up to a 10/10, but that's far less flexible.
3 mana is also a lot easier to "get off" than 5, despite it not seeming so.
Think this will just go into most decks splashing unh.
too late
None of the previous cards that spend lots of corpses to summon a big boi has seen any play. I don't have high hopes for this one.
the art is too spooky for me
That art will be a Hallow's End staple for years to come (at least for me).
BRO THIS IS LITERALLY MONSTER HOUSE
(you know, that 'kids' movie lol)
I watch it every year, paranorman and monster house are peak fall films
Very flexible, will see play from multippel sources.
