Can you post your decklist? And at which rank are you playing? I wonder that you face so many unusual decks. I mostly play against aggro hunters or paladins.

Maybe I can add you and spectate a couple of games.

And yeah, Kezan, Flare and Loatheb are hard counters for freeze mage. Luckily Loatheb needs to be placed correctly, which most players don't know. And kezan isn't that common. When you lose due to kezan or flare, don't surrender. You can't do anything about it.

I  can recommend these two videos:

Amaz unfortunately only plays echo mage since a couple of weeks, so I don't know if his stream might help.

Maybe you are just unlucky and need to take a break. Sometimes your opponents really seem to have the perfect draw, while you don't. Midrange paladins are tougher than aggro ones. I'm actually surprised that you meet ones with silence. Usually they don't have an owl in their decks.

Trying to clear the board instead of drawing cards is normal. You only use arcane intellect or drop an acolyte if you know that you can wipe/blizzard the board next turn and have nothing to do in this one. As I already said - don't use your board clears as often as you can. It's better to save them for a possible comeback of your opponent. Use frost nova and ping in order to prepare their minions for a flamestrike.

Btw I use 2 Flamesterikes and 1 Blizzard, idk how your deck looks like. Maybe it makes a difference for you. Running two healbots may help as well.

And maybe you are too defensive and you wait for too long before you start going for their face. You don't need Alex and Antonidas in every matchup. Especially against classes which do not run heals. Your deck has enough damage to burst your enemy down even without alexstasza. Watch some streams of people playing freeze mage, that might help you to find the right tempo and the point where you should start using your burn spells.

My mate has Garrison Commander and Holy Champion on board and 7 mana left. Instead of double heropowering and buffing his champ he plays some random minions and passes...

Freeze mage is exactly what you are asking for. You have to think 2-3 turns ahead and this deck is very competitive and is played by everyone in the championships.

I won against one today. You need a lot of luck. You need to get value from Antonidas and use Thaurissan afterwards. I think I made around 60 damage in this game.

This matchup is extremely unfavorable for freeze mage.

posted a message on Funniest Thing that has every happened to your in HS

Well, I think it was funny for my opponent, but this was my most frustrating WTF moment in HS:

I played with my midrange hunter against a control priest. I bursted him down to 1 HP and he had Auchenai soulpriest on his board, so he couldn't heal up. I also had a shredder on my board, which wouldn't be enough for him to trade his soulpriest and heal after that. Myself, I had over 20 HP left. There was absolutely nothing he could play to avoid lethal, because every heal would kill him due to soulpriest. Well there still was one thing he could try...

Play Confessor Paletress and heropower on my face.

I lost this game two turns later.

    What are the chances?

It took me months to notice that Auchenai Soulpriest illustrates a human being and not some kind of a plasma/blizzard anomaly creature.
