Barnes is, quite frankly, ruining the game for me. I have been playing less and less as the months go on, because of big priest. It's not fun to run into a turn 3, 4, or 5 Barnes which just wins them the game. It wasn't this big of a problem in standard because you only had access to eternal servitude, but in wild you have access to a host of other effects to ressurect. Another problem with Barnes is that there is zero counterplay. If you kill the 1/1 they get the full version next turn. If you silence the 1/1 they get the full version if you devolve the 1/1 they get a random 7+ drop. I would suggest changing Barnes to where he summons a "mini" version of the minion, which is just a 1/1 version of the minion. An actual 1/1 If it's silenced it's a 1/1, killed and ressumoned as a 1/1 etc. This keeps the card as how I belive Blizz intended, with powerful synergy with deathrattles and end of turn effects, but without allowing the broken synergy with big priest. This leaves big priest intact, but it no longer would have the chance to outright win so early in the game. Big priest is a deck which punishes slower decks with large waves of large minions, but with Barnes is can also punish faster decks with no chance for counterplay.

YourPrivateNightmare posted a message on Molten Giant & Mountain Giant to Become Elemental + More Minion ChangesPosted in: NewsSo Witchwood Grizzly has to get new Art because they feel like Ghost animals shouldn't be beasts, but Ghostly Charger is fine?
At the same time Bogshaper is still an Elemental while all other cards of its species are not.
This coming from the same guys who keep going on about how "they don'T want to change too many things because it might get confusing". Well, I'd say swapping card arts out of nowhere without actually having any consistency anyways is going to be pretty confusing for most new players.
It's things like these that make it really hard to believe that Team5 supposedly puts an appropriate amount of thought behind their decisions.

Nimehte posted a message on No refund for TessPosted in: Card DiscussionI don't think you guys will stop, short of me saying I hate f2p players and this is a huge nerf to the card. Am I right?
Are you trolling or something ? I played with Tess a lot and certain scenario where Tess killed herself or polymorph herself happened a lot I remember them because when I was planning to use shadow step on tess and I couldn't Now it will stop replaying other cards to. Your saying the change is insignificant is just bullshit

MrZeplin posted a message on New Rogue Legendary Weapon Reveal: KingsbanePosted in: NewsThis feels like an easy card to overhype. If you play a lot of weapon buffs, then you need to draw this weapon or you're wasting them on a dagger. After that, you need to redraw it to actually get value. That second step takes longer than people might think, and at that point the weapon buffs might not even be worth the wait.

Tze posted a message on New Paladin Card - Lightfused StegodonPosted in: Card DiscussionQuote from super_norq >>on a less serious note though; I've always wondered how the hell a dude who looks like a Tier1 bad-ass paladin (sporting the whole Field Marshal's Battlegear) is but a recruit - lol
I mean at this point in WoW a level 60 is pretty much a 1/1 token compared to max level characters. Clearly Hearthstone decided to skip the decade of power level inflation and just make us gods from the get-go.Or if you think about it, Y'Shaarj is huge but only a 10/10. Paladin Dudes are 1/10th the power of an Old God. #beefcake -

Agithore posted a message on New Rogue Quest - The Caverns Below (Crystal Core)Posted in: Card DiscussionHow did anyone even come up with this clown fiesta of a card? Leave it to Blizzard to give Rogues the worst of the worst each expansion (and not only is the mechanic bad, but I have a feeling too many of the other cards will focus on trying to pull this off --- meaning, goodbye another set for Rogues).

Thanks for compiling these :-)
I'm pretty shocked Whizzbang is rotating out. I've been thinking that making him a classic card was a given.

It's also a better bait; the opponent is going to think that you play buffs. :)
