Seriously though a zoolock player (and a massive BMing zoo player at that) has almost no right to whine about "op" decks, especially if said deck is a complete counter to his deck and he does nothing about it. Why even come to the forums to complain? Seems like a complete waste of time, better to just use that time to find a counter and enjoy your free trip to legend instead of making a fool of yourself
I prefer big legendaries such as Sylvana, Cairne, etc but Ogres are also pretty awesome. They are also under 7 attack and not taunt which actually helps with avoiding BGH and TBK removal. They have to be physically removed which can burn through a ton of your opponents resources
Yeah I'll definitely try out the webspinners as a turn one, there's no reason not to. If you run 2 Hyenas you can have a turn 2 4/3 in a lot of your games. It's hunters complete answer to a decent early drop. The only problem of course is that as it is random, it's possible you will draw king krush on turn 2 and never get to play it, in which case webspinner basically just becomes a 1/1 for 1... But of course the chances are much higher of drawing something decent. An interesting card and I think it'll be fun to see if it's consistently worthwhile. Personally, I think it can push midrange hunter over the edge and possible make it as strong and consistent a deck as Druid (Let's face it, Hunter is not consistent). In my deck I would probably swap out one tracking and Maexxna (gasp) for them.
Pretty good example of how to play, even if shaman is the easiest matchup. I believe every play you made was correct except for your turn 4 (where I would have played oasis instead of explosive trap) so well done!
I haven't played in 2 days but yes I constantly chop and change. maybe after every 3 games I'll change a card or two. I don't too stray far from the list tho. The biggest coin toss right now is 2 Kodo or 2 Kill Command, and Timber wolf for tracking or flare.
You usually need at least one of your 4 aoe's (Explosive trap and UTH) by turn 4ish to beat zoo. Of course 2 is better and Explosive trap THEN UTH is the best. But like someone else has said you can trade very well and keep him occupied with fighting for board control with Haunted Creeper, Bow, Freezing trap, Animal companion etc before drawing into Aoe. Not sure if this makes sense but basically you should mulligan for Aoe while possibly keeping these other cards. Also, I never keep 2 of each of Explosive trap or Unleash in my starting hand but sometimes keep 2 haunted creepers, especially if going second.
These are all excellent suggestions and probably would lead to a more balanced overall deck. Most people seem to be running into a stack of zoo which why i have those other cards listed, but this is likely better in a more varied meta. Thanks so much for your feedback I hope your comment gets more upvotes
Damn that sucks.. If it was because of my deck then I'm sorry. Hopefully it calms down a bit as new wings get released. But nevertheless, the current few weeks will most likely be a contest of who can adapt the best. There's a decent article on IhearthU about dealing with a new meta
It's much more fun :P It's really good at popping divine shields, Loot Hoarder, Leper Gnome etc, soaking up silences, and just being an annoying pain in the arse to deal with in general. Timber Wolf is kinda reliant on UTH combos and having 2 is a bit much IMO. Also Silence is very strong right now, but if you were going to sub out the owl, I'd recommend Scavenging Hyena
Thanks! If you're running into Mage and Hunter then absolutely, run 2 even. I'd probably replace Timber Wolf and a Freezing Trap
As regards to how viable Maexxna is, I think it's a decent card, but can be substituted for any meta picks. It's incredibly good vs druid (think Ancient of War)and when taunted is a nightmare to deal with for most classes. Of course the obvious downside is that it can be stolen by Cabal Shadow Priest and killed by Stampeding Kodo but that hasn't happened to me yet. See it as an 8 health infinite attack beast that can't attack face :)
Guide coming soonish *tm* I'm in a really weird spot right now, tomorrow I have 3 flights in a row on my way to Hong Kong which i still haven't packed for... I'll probably write it up during the flights and post when I can get online.

This is really good! A great example of using the guide to come up with your own deck (which I just assume you did) Hope you have fun with it!

Yes it really is in fact the best card in the game, especially vs everything kappa
