It's easy to deny it. Personally, i prefer the golden legendary, you wanna know why? Easy.
The WW preorder was 50 bucks and 70 packs. The Boomsday is 50 bucks for 50 packs plus a golden legendary. This is clear.
1- Once you open 50+ packs, the dust returns of packs start to be diminishing. This is, you start to get a higher frequency on duplicates and therefore packs tend to give the player 40 dust, not the regular 100+ dust.
2- A golden legendary is equal to 1600 dust. This means that you have to open 16 packs that average 100 dust each, something already hard enough considering that you have to average that number in just 20 packs, and you also have to dust each and every card in those packs.
3- A golden legendary is WAY rarer and harder to obtain than any other card, and with this offer you already have it. You ALREADY hit the jackpot! With the 20 packs, you'll get WAY less than those 1600 dust, and it would be extremely rare to get a golden legendary.
4- A golden legendary, if you dust it, means you can craft a legendary of your choice. The importance of this is paramount. I would 100 times prefer to choose the legendary i want to get, than praying to the rng gods so that i get a legendary in those 20 packs in the first place, and then pray again so that it is the legendary i want.
Whether a golden legendary is worse than 20 packs or not is arguable at best.
So, please think twice before typing next time, and give it a little thought.
I would,if your arguments were somehow valid or true.
Argument 2 is in my favor, you point out that that golden legendary is worth 16 packs, but that the golden legendary is very rare. That is true, but again, you point out that it is worth 16 packs.
In argument 3 you completely ignore the fact that there's a big chance that legendary would be unusable in any kind of competitive decks, don't pretend that you would have been happy for a golden Splintergraft. And you completely ignore that golden doesn't mean nothing for the actual game. That's just a nice visual effect. You like it, we get it. We don't care.
Argument 4 is invalid, yes you can craft another legendary with that 1600 dust you get for dezenchanting the golden one, but you can do more if you decide to dezenchant the contents of 20 packs, cause with that proven 90-100 avg dust per pack you'll have 2000 to spend.
In the end argument 1 is straight up A LIE, a big BIG LIE, this video will prove you wrong ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qlOTNtUvhe8 ), no, really now, it's 90-100 dust per deck if you dezenchant all the cards in that said decks. If you don't already have that card and you would otherwise craft it it's times 4, so it would be 400 dust value per pack if you don't have any of the cards.
"So, please think twice before typing next time, and give it a little thought. "
people (like OP) just dislike the idea lock a skin behind paywall and we have 16 pages of shitstorm like now
they are, last time it was 50$ for 70 packs, and don't even start with that golden legendary, that is worth a lot less then 20 packs, plus it is a price increase for the best card-pack and that's clear. how can you deny that?
The way I see this is: There are two new card games incoming that look a lot better then HS right now Artifact (The Dota Card Game) and MTG Arena. The competition is rising and what is blizzard doing to please their customers? Well, they nerf cards and don't offer dust refund (Lynessa Sunsorrow, Jungle Moonkin and the others) and, ofc, they have to increase the price of pre-purchase. For me that's another slap in the face, and so, I'll skip any purchase this expansion.
It's just my opinion and I don't blame others for thinking otherwise. But this is very weird, lots of people obviously don't like the state of the game, or the expansion, or blizzards recent actions, but they are still putting more money into the game for the soul reason that they've already "invested" lots of money and don't want to fall behind. That's bullshit, it's not an investment, it's exactly the opposite in this case - a liability, it's better for you to just cut your looses and move on to something else.
And I also don't get why people call you entitled, you're just stating the obvious, you don't own anything to blizzard but they have to make good games to keep us interested.
If this is meant as a hint for THE EYE, the center part of the Tempest Keep, this can mean that we have the final boss reveled - Kael'thas Sunstrider. In this fight I remember we used some of the legendary weapons the council spawns to beat them. I wander if that will translate into HS.
Also, I can't wait to beat High Astromancer Solarian again. One of myfavorite encounters from TBC, my guild spend a good few hours until we managed to get the tactics right. And at least two raid nights until we managed to down that cancer.
Lynessa Sunsorrow functioned with the spells applied in strict order for 5-6 months, some players used this mechanic for some crazy combos. Changing her now with that excuse -that that is how she was meant to function- is pathetic. If she was meant to replay the buffs in a random order why wait so much to change that? Hell, why even release her like that? Don't tell me you didn't noticed that in the internal testing, that was quite obvious from the stat. So yeah, blizz started to make pathetic excuses to not refund the dust to players, basically stealing from players that happened to craft the card, so I think it's time to vote with our wallets!
Revert on Tess and Shudderwock are welcome, but based on the poor excuse that they made I think the real purpose was the same - not to give players dust cause in that case they may not buy so many packs in the near future. If that's true I hope it backfires at you hard.

I want to point out that the change to Jungle Moonkin is a nerf and that blizzard should give dust refund for that too - "for consistency’s sake".
Also: Kripp made a video on this matter. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=shkYpZtsFLk
