I never play warlock and mage (warlocks sucks at the moment and I really don't like RNG mage) and Warrior is also among the classes I rarely play (at the moment I am trying some dragon warrior). For some reason my daily quests wants me to play those exact three classes. I am fine with every other class but no. "Win 5 games with warrior, mage or warlock". Come on!
I am getting closer and closer to putting on my tinfoil hat and joining the "matchmaking is rigged" group.
Earlier today I faced a shitload of Pirate Warriors and I thought: "Ok, better tech in golakka crawler."
After I did that I faced a lot of mages, so I thought: "Okay... better get some anti-secret". Nope, no more mages and no more pirates. Hello control decks and murloc paladins. So I just teched in hungry crabs to deal with them, and removed anti-secrets and crawlers.
... back to motherfucking mages and aggro druids.
It's like everytime I try to tech against what I am facing the most, I instantly get punished and ends up with dead cards in my hand.
edit: just took a game without hungry crabs in it (first time in like 10 games or so). Murloc paladin.
Nzoth is a must. Though there are very few strong deathrattle minions at the moment, a full board with them along with a 5/7 can do some damage. But it is not a strong deck.
It's simple: you already have a minion with Poisonous or Freeze out when you play Theldurin. Then you can use his inspire to get rid of any Deathwing, Dragonlord the enemy plays.
But I'd say that's a very niche situation. It requires you to play a minion with poisonous or freeze on the board while being a head, not lose Thelduran to hard removal or lose freeze/poisonous minion to trades/removal.
I cannot see how this is any good. And it's not like Deathwing is something you encounter that often.
It's a win-more card and generally they see little to no play in HS.
However, I don't think it's any good. You probably won't play on turn 4 because you give your opponent a 12/12, and if you play it on turn 6 you are basically just playing a vanilla 8/6 which isn't impressive.
Can you craft him? Isn't he in the Naxxramas adventure? Anyway.
I saw Gaara(a former Dreamhack winner) climbing in wild with him , and he took him fast out of the deck . Back than he was so strong because Druid had Savage roar plus Force of Nature, wich was insane burst and Loatheb stoped that for a turn same with Rouge, when they Leeroy,Shadowstep and so on.
Nowadays there is much less spellbased OTK stuff around, and more minion based aggro, wich Loatheb is not good against. So I would probably not craft him.
Once an adventure rotates to wild all cards becomes craftable since you cannot purchase them anymore. :-)
Silence Priest can't win if they don't have a board, and the whole silence package means they run less removal than other Priest decks. From that perspective, I'd argue as Aggro Shaman you can play a much slower game than you'd normally want to against Priest because they won't have tools in the late game. Maybe I'm completely off the money here.
No, you are right. If there are no minions to buff then it's a big handicap for the Priest player. Even trading into them can be frustrating because there is no point in buffing a minion with two health. But hard removal is strong because it can be difficult to kill a 4/8 minion on turn 2 (if he has the coin).
If you ask me the biggest problem with elementals is found in their mechanic. I've played a fair amount of elemental decks, in arena and on ladder, and you just have so many awkward turns. Say you really need the battlecry of a elemental on the following turn but your current turns really requires you to play something else then you have a big choice to make 1) play to trigger the battlecry on the following and thereby risk it becomes redundant. 2) don't play an elemental but ruin your play on the following turn.
The mechanic is just so clunky. If you hit topdeck-mode then it's also a risk to play a topdecked elemental since there is a fair chance you won't draw one on the following turn, which means you are just playing over-priced vanilla minions.

I might consider it later. It can only be better than my last Priest draft anyway. :D

Yes. Priest: shadowform + Raza + coldarra drake. Instant win combo that requires little setup.
There are just too many combos if one class has all cards available.

Grats dude! I am happy for you. Enjoy the last days of the season with some fun decks without being afraid to drop ranks. :-)
