Am I the only one that dusted my entire wild collection... I came short of meta cards lately and sadly had to do go this way :/
Saved sylvanas, Rag, lich king and dr7 though
Did the same when MSoG came out. Regretted it immidiately and have over time established my wild collection again.
@OT Don't dust your card unless you have to. Blizzard nerfs a lot more than they used to do, so you'll eventually miss out on a lot of dust if you press the botton.
Do we get cookie points when we refer discussions to the salt thread? Looking into achievements maybe!!!!
You should try it. But at the very least start a discussion. I've been on these forums long enough to see how good and bad discussions are made, and threads like these were you have a topic coated in 90 % salt rarely becomes a discussion.
It is funny that control players still talk about skills. Aggro Vs aggro is all about decision making, and a single mistake can cost you the game.
Control Vs control is about value but also a ton of RNG. E.g. Priest mirrors depend on Galakrond luck, highlander decks depend on Alex luck and let's not get started on puzzle box.
To all the players who say: "itS jUsT aBouT GoiNg FacE". Try it and see your winrate.
If you play a shitty deck to give them, how on earth are you ever going to live till you draw and play this combo?
If you play a good deck, just with this combo included, why would you want to permanently swap with them?
I think this is mostly relevant in wild, and Priest has a ton of board clears and tools to survive. E.g. Togwaggle/Murozond is basically removal + draw + hemet + togwaggle and murozond. And the deck can even beat aggro decks without playing the combo because they just remove things constantly.
I agree but this whiny community tends to overestimate the effect of a card and whine about it. They only look at the effect, not the context, the type of deck it goes in to, what meta it requires etc.
I also think that this card will be horrible in an aggressive meta because you don't want to waste 4 mana giving your opponent cards.
I personally don't care about it. However, there are people who dislike things like this because it messes with the uniqueness feel. E.g. remember when Blizzard made Tyrande free in their new shop? A lot of people were mad because they obtained her through the previous requirements, and thought it was unfair that people got it for free.
I read a proposal that can satisfy both groups. Give the OG card backs something that makes them distinguishable from the purchased ones. It could be a different frame, a stamp or something else. In that way old players can still be proud of their card backs and newer players can enjoy a card back they like. I also like the thought of Blizzard acknowledging their long-term players.
Real collectors want the original stuff, not copies, so it wouldn't work for all players.
First rule of life: You can't please everyone all the time! ;)
I think you can arrange collectors in all sorts of categories. Some people just want everything, some wants the OG stuff, some wants all the stuff from a certain point in time etc.
But you are right that it is not possible to satisfy everyone. I just like the thought of Blizzard acknowledging their old school players by giving OG stuff a stamp/frame/whatever, so it is possible to distinguish between obtained and bought card backs.
I usually don't like Blizzard way of approaching things. It feels like sometimes this people have no f..king idea what they are actually doing, as if they were completely clueless about most stuff (especially when dealing with the community). Thanks for your polite and honest answer, much appreciated! :)

1st place in 16 % of your games and 2nd in even more seems like a pretty good balance to me - especially if you are a casual player. But perhaps I am just a noob.

And use the salt thread

It is strange. Blizzard nerfed Druids ability to ramp by hitting wild growth, innervate and Nourish.
A year or so later Druid has: lightning bloom, breath of the wild and overgrowth.

No, it would not. You do not want to res a 4/4 or 1/1
