People are living longer out of the midgame due to removal of cannon. This means later tiers are more diluted. Basically more people are getting to tavern 5. With Megasaur gone late game shifts are not really a thing. So basically if you get to turn 5 with a comp and the game doesn't offer you the correct minions. you lose.
the RNG has shifted from the midgame attacks and tokens to the late game builds.

Track your games on a spreadsheet and record what the build was and weither you were offered minions that allowed an ingame transition or not.

I’d vote for no minion mage. It’s glorified casino, there is 0 skill and 100% random. Total garbage deck for garbage players but when it high rolls and you lose to pure luck it’s 100% salt.
Was in a match with early poisonous murlocs at 38 health as Eudora cruising to an easy first, went into a tunnel for literally 10 seconds and my game didn’t reconnect, finished 6th. if playing hearthstone on my commute can’t withstand a 10 second disconnect that sucks. Never had this problem before.
so many players tr6 to force murlocs each game, only one wins with it. That’s the issue. Everyone is losing to a single murloc player who gets lucky while often 2-3 others lose trying to force murlocs. This dilutes the murloc winrate.
TLDR blizzard doesn’t see murlocs as a problem because 3 out of 8 players lose with murlocs every game they are available.
meanwhile, one player gets an early megasaur on turn 6 and the game is effectively over for everyone else.
activision has been purposefully increasing the rng in battlegrounds just like standard. it makes the casual players happy. When the pandemic started I was playing several hours a day and managed to climb to 9500. Since I have been back working more hours and only able to play a couple matches a da6 I’m down to 7200.
Basically if you play perfectly and play many hours a day you’ll eventually get to 10k range. If you can’t play a lot then you’re gonna have a bad time.

It’s hearthstone you minimize rng by playing a lot of games cause that’s what they want,,..you to play a lot of games. Each individual game is just a series of coin flips.
The problem is brann not murlocs. Brann allows you to quickly get BIG murlocs and allows multiplayer shots at divine shield and poison. Building manual divine shield murlocs with poison without brann is slow enough you’re likely dead before it happens.
every lobby with murlocs 5 players or more attempt them and only 1 wins with it, so a murloc build might win every BG but 4 other players with murloc builds lose.
It’s balanced to the point that if you remove brann it’s not a problem.

battlegrounds is still a no skill rng fiesta and always will be but, accepting that, the removal of cannon made the mode much more enjoyable,

Brann is the issue. Anyone claiming megasaur is the issue is a low mmr player. Brann needs to go to 6 or be removed.
